Beautiful light

I received this light fixture for free from Butterly.com in exchange for my honest review. I received Canvas McKee 1-Light Semi-Flushmount Matte White Finish with Brushed Gold Canopy (12" diameter).

My thoughts:
I really like the two-tone of this light. It gives a nice glow when lighted and looks beautiful when not. I think the amount of light it gives off is perfect for a spare bedroom. I opted to go for the 60 watt LED light bulb.

The installation was not too bad. It took me about an hour to install. It would have been quicker if the instructions weren't wrong!

The fixture mounting bolts and the bolts that secure to the box base go along the same line on the plate and NOT through the inside holes on the plate as directed. If you follow the directions, the canopy will not be able to mount.

After undoing and redoing the mistake, the rest was easy. I did have a bit of guessing on how to secure the shade/canopy as it wasn't instructed in the manual. Thankfully, it wasn't a more complicated light installation!

Overall, the end result was worth the frustration! It is a beautiful light that looks exactly as pictured and described.

Love the gold!!

I absolutely adore the inside of this light fixture. The gold finishings are beautiful! It was easy and quick to install and was up in under 30 minutes!

It's a cute addition

This light is a cute addition to our hallway and it definitely gives more of a spotlight type lighting as opposed to lighting more of the area. It works great for at night because the light in the hallway is near the kids room so it doesn't create a bright light when they're sleeping. The design is sleek with the gold details. I really enjoy it
