I simply CAN'T. SAY. ENOUGH. about this product!!! It is a God sent for me! I have very dry cracked lips all year round. My lips peel so much I'm surprised I have any lip left. I mean really, I really struggle with my dry cracked lips and nothing seems to help them. I've used Burts Bees in the past until I accidentally melted it. It helped more than any other brand I've tried, and I thought it was *amazing* but that was before I tried Carmex!

The fact that I need to use my fingers for it doesn't phase me because I can use more when needed just by scraping off more with my finger. When I put it on it instantly soothes my lips, and gives a gentle cool tingly feeling. It actually smells really nice, kind of like vicks and sweet smell mixed together. It doesn't feel like a waxy coating on my lips (like burts bees did), rather I feel it soaks into my lips, moisturizes and relaxes the skin instantly.

This is really inexpensive compared to the other medicated lip balms out there, and well worth the try! I highly recommend this product to anyone who suffers from dry cracked lips. Even if you've tried other products and think that the result is as good as it'll get....try carmex and think again :-)

carmex lip balm works fast, has a nice light scent and the price is good and you can buy it just about any where so why spend more on a lip balm.?

This product was well worth what I paid for it. It was only 99 cents and it is sold just about everywhere you could possibly go. It helps to get rid of fever blisters which I always seem to be getting.

I purchased the Carmex Moisturizing Lip Balm/Ointment after reading some great reviews about it. Well, they weren't lying! This is probably the best lip care product I've ever owned. I love how it makes my lips feel moisturized almost instantly and it doesn't feel too sticky or greasy either. The squeeze tube makes it easy to apply on the lips and I haven't had issues with too much product coming out at once. I also like the bright yellow packaging, which makes it easy to find in your purse.

The lip balm/ointment is clear, but it leaves a nice shine on the lips. It does have a slight medicated scent and taste to it, which I don't mind too much, but it may be offensive to some. The reason for this is that it can also be used to treat cold sores on the lips, so I'm sure some form of "medicine" is included in the ingredients. I haven't had a cold sore to test this on so I can't say whether or not it works for that. It does feel tingly on your lips, sort of like what a lip plumpong gloss would feel like, but I was able to tolerate this.

Overall, I think this is a great product and I will keep purchasing it when I run out.

In the height of winter sometimes this is the only stuff that can get my chapped lips feeling good again. Not as tasty or exotic as many lip balms, but when you need to get the job done, this is great stuff.

Love how this heals my lips in the winter. Feels great and I notice great improvement in the health of my lips.

Carmex works GREAT and because it works that is why i would recommend it! It always leaves my lips soft and supple... I would recommend it to anyone but it some come with a price...and it is not a monetary one!

2. and I do not like that you have to dip your fingers into it to use it... I prefer a stick to apply...

But on the upside... it does work.. great price and even though it is a TINY LITTLE TIN.... it does last!!!!!

P.S as a tip..... Mix a little sugar and water to make a paste and use it to exfoliate your lips too.. if you exfoliate on a weekly basis and use a good chap stick your lips will be able to soak up the chap stick better and you will have smoother more supple looking lips with or without lip stick! ( It makes wearing lip stick look better too)

Carmex Lip Balm works really great for moisturizing chapped lips (especially in the winter). For such an inexpensive product it lasts a really long time too! However I must say that I am not a fan of the taste. It tastes like medicine...

Carmex is a brand that my mother has bought for ages from the local dollar stores. It is super effective! This is definitely one of the holy grails to cheap, amazing beauty! I never run out of this product. Everyone in the house uses it [except the cat]. It is a medicinal smell but it feels so0o good on your lips who cares what it smells like? The menthol really plumps up my lips too! I even use this balm during the summer months because it never feels super heavy or greasy. Once you get it you will find yourself reapplying it just for the nice tingly sensation it gives you. I'd recommend this product to just about anyone; from practical to diva. Just try to find it in the squeeze tube because the pot is a little annoying once you get towards the bottom of it.

On the outside of my tube of Carmex are the words, 'moisturizing lip balm' and they aren't lying. It's the nicest lip balm I've used I like a lip balm that moisturizes but leaves a tingling feeling as well. That's exactly what this balm does and the smell is quite refreshing as well.

If you have chapped lips, this is going to fix them in an instant. I bought this product in Las Vegas when my lips got chapped and burned from the sun. Within a day my lips were back to normal and I give full kudos to the Carmex product.

It also gives your lips a natural shine and makes them look glossy without really having to apply goopy gloss. I highly recommend this product!!!
