Used to love

I love the smell and taste of this lipbalm, but what I discover was how it gets you addicted to it. What I mean was, when you have it on it is moisturizing, but as it dries out your lips feel even drier than before. It's simply a bad cycle of dry, moisturize, drier, moisturize. I went through 2 or 3 of these hoping I'm wrong... Glad I stopped.

Not really worth the hype

I recently bought 2 three-packs of the Carmex tubes. I have been using Carmex lip balms for 5 years and it's one of my favorites. Recently, it's been getting a lot of hype because influncers use it. It's nice, it smells good, and it works- sort of. I tend to see that if I don't use it regularly, it doesn't really work that well. However, it hydrates my lips and is shiny. Also, the prices have increased which is sad. I recc this product but only if you are not expecting much... only if you want to join the bandwagon.

Cheap but doesn't work :/

I saw these lip balms everywhere on my social media pages! I didn't understand what the "hype" was all about, so I gave a shot. I bought the tube and in my opinion, the price was cheap. The smell was a little weird at first like vaseline. Using it at first did help my lips get moisture and also made my lips look glossy and plumped, which I liked. But after using it for about 2-3 weeks, my lips would get dry after a few minutes and I had to constantly re-apply it over and over again. I was staying hydrated and also asked my friends, and they also had the same results. At first, I was impressed but personally I don't think it's worth it.

Undecided about this lipbalm

I love a good lip balm and have been using this one for years. I have found however, that the moisture it provides is only for a short period of time. It is a decent price but I am on the hunt for a lip balm which is more hydrating all year around and preferably one that is petroleum free as petroleum dries your lips out even more!

Too medicinal.

This lip balm helps my lips,but it’s way too medicinal for me. Also it’s kind of hard to apply because of the application tip. It heals my lips but it’s too medicinal for me. I haven’t tried the other flavours but personally I don’t like this one.

Not bad - for really Dry chapped lips

This carmex product lip balm is my favourite lip balm! It’s moisturizing and keep your lips very soft!! I feel like I


I used it during all winter in canada and is the best one that I used.

Will not re-purchase

This product was really disappointing. With the initial uses, I felt a slight burning sensation which I thought meant that the product should be working its magic on my lips. But it did not moisturize them at all. My lips still cracked and peeled and looked awful. The design of the tin can was also terrible. Eventually the product couldn't even be reached because the groove got too deep into the can that you ended up wasting the rest. Sadly even with this issue, I was glad to get rid of this. I will never lay my eyes on this lip balm ever again.

I was super excited to try this because I've heard wonderful things about it but sadly it just tastes too bad for me to like it enough. It does moisturize well, and helps heal chapped lips but it tastes like the grossest medicated, artificial cherry flavour ever! Too nasty for me

Carmex is the worst lip balm I have ever used. I swear it makes my lips drier every time I apply it. The smell is interesting but the consistency is tough and it does not spread easily on the lips.

This balm has a weird smell about it so I don't use it anymore.
