Thank you for choosing me to try out this Breakfast Essentials Powder Drink Mix in Chocolate. The packaging is very convenient. The powder is easy to mix in with milk (I used almond milk instead). It tastes just like chocolate milk and it really fills you up throughout the morning. This drink will definitely be a stapled food on myself when I need a quick bite on the road or a even a quick lunch to power me through the day.

I received a box of carnation breakfast essential in chocolate for free from chickadvisor's Product Rewview Club. Here is my honest option on it.

A bit of backstory: the elevator at work is out of service for what will be a total of at least 3 months. Every morning is met with at least 133 stairs to climb. Due to this I, a previously breakfast skipper, has been ensuring I have something in the mornings to give me the strength to climb the stairs.

I am so happy that I got to try this product. I didn’t think a meal replacement powder/drink could be this good. This product is going to be my new best friend on the mornings I over sleep and don’t have time for a sit drown breakfast.

What I like ~
The taste: with a nice rich chocolate flavour it is just like drinking chocolate milk
Texture: I mix it with 2% milk and find it to be very creamy
Substance: with 15g of protein it keeps me feeling full and satisfied until lunch (about 5 hours later)

What I don’t like~
High amount of sugar - 21g
While it was very creamy the powder it took a lot of stirring and didn’t fully mix, there was a few small powder clumps

Conclusion: This is definitely a product I am going to keep on hand, though I am going to try to find the ligh one with less sugar to try.

I'm not a breakfast person so I often miss the most important meal of the day. With Breakfast Carnation Essentials Powder Drink Mix that doesn't have to happen anymore. They are quick and easy to make, and taste great! I can easily see myself having one every morning.

I am very glad to be chosen to review this product! I regularly substitute breakfast for a protein shake or bar so this fit the bill. I really like how it mixed in easily and the taste was nice chocolate. Overall I was really please, it was a nice change from my usual products. I would purchase these again, the sugar vs protein ration isn't ideal but sometimes you don't feel like having a _protein_ shake you know?

I have to admit that I wasn't too sure how a powered drink would taste in the morning, but I was pleasantly surprised of how much Carnation Breakfast Essentials tasted like regular chocolate milk!! I have been drinking it in the morning for a few days now and I feel a lot more energized throughout the day. I LOVE all of the vitamins contained in this drink, especially the Vitamin D, which is very helpful during the winter months. It's so easy to make, which is great for when I get to the office and immediately have to start running around. I have already recommended this to friends and will continue to do so! I can't wait to try the Vanilla flavour and will definitely go out and buy some more once I'm done with this box from Chick Advisor.

As a full-time university student who has a part-time job and a work placement, I'm constantly on the go and more often than not running out the door after snoozing my alarms on too many times. That is precisely why I am no stranger to protein shakes and drink mixes. I really like this one in particular as it has a great deal of vitamins and nutrients made to keep my going throughout the day. Plus the taste is great, which isn't always the case for many drink mixes. Which is why I've been using this product every single day since I've received it
