My daughter doesn't eat much she tried this for breakfast and lived it right to the last drop. I'm glad its now her new go to before school. Now I'll be trying the other flavors for sure.

J'ai bien aimé le goût! (Chocolat pour ma part). Par contre, lorsque je prends ça pour déjeuner, je dois prévoir une collation à prendre durant l'avant-midi, sinon j'ai de la difficulté à me rendre jusqu'au dîner. Par contre, très bon déjeuner sur le pouce lorsque l'on est pressée!!

I love Carnation Breakfast Essentials! I usually dont have time to prepare breakfast in the morning so i just drink Carnation Breakfast Essentials and it tides me up until lunch time! It keeps me energized throughout the morning. It's both nutritious & delicious! I highly recommend this item to be on everyone's grocery list!

I like to make a quick breakfast and the carnation breakfast essentials fits the bill. It is easy to prepare (just add milk; I use almond milk ) and reminds me of the chocolate milk powder I drank as a kid but has the added bonus of being full of good things for me. I liked how it tasted but I wouldn't mind if the chocolate flavour was more pronounced. I plan on picking up another box next time I see this on sale.

Grâce à Chickadvisor, j'ai pu testé ce nouveau produit. J'ai trouvé que la poudre se dissoue très bien dans le lait. Par besoin d'ajouter plus de liquide qu'indiqué sur l'emballage et il ne reste pas de mottons de poudre dans le fond, une fois que c'est bien agité. Le goût de chocolat n'est pas très prononcé et le mélange n'est pas trop sucré non plus. Le seul petit bémol, c'est que comme tous les produits de ce genre, il laisse un goût ferreux dans la bouche. Sinon je le recommande plus que d'autres marques, car il est très efficace, il me soutient tout l'avant-midi et pour les autres raisons mentionnées ci-dessus.

I was super excited that I got to try this for free. I had a glass of milk and poured the package in and stirred. I didn't really like the taste though because it was too chocolate. However I liked the convenience of dumping this in a glass of milk and having an alternate to breakfast when your are in a hurry

I was excited that I #gotitfree and was happy to try this product. I absolutely loved it! I love how easy it is to mix and drink in the morning! Sometimes I am busy or don't have time for breakfast so this helps keep me full until I can get food! I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a quick breakfast alternative.

I received Carnation breakfast Essentials powdered drink mix in chocolate to review for Chick Advisor.
I was very excited to be able to try this product. I was looking for something different to change up my normal protein mix and thought this could replace it.
After reviewing the product information, I was shocked as to how much sugars are in one single package, 21 grams of sugar! It's listed as the second ingredient.
What I also found very misleading was the amount of protein. At first glance it looks as if the package is containing 15g of protein, however that is only when mix with 250ml of whole mix. So essentially the mix is just 7 grams of actual protein. Whole milk is not something I regularly purchase to mix with my protein supplements.
Now for what I didn't mind about this product. It mixed well and dissolved instantly. It tasted like chocolate milk and wasn't lumpy or gross in texture.
Would I use it again? Likely not because of the high sugar, low protein mix, and the misleading package information. Thankfully I read through the package in detail and found this out before ditching my tried and true protein supplement.
