Carnation Breakfast Essentials

These are great for busy mornings. When I don't have time to eat, I simply make one of these and take it with me. The taste is great. Not to sweet but not bitter either.

A delicious way to top up your vitamins for the day

It was easy to prepare a serving of the Carnation® Breakfast Essentials. Each packet is a single serving all you need to do is empty the contents of one packet into a glass or mug and then add cold milk. I chose to add a glass of whole milk. Then you stir the mixture - it was a bit on the thick side though so some people may choose to add a bit of extra milk. I had the chocolate flavour and it tasted absolutely delicious! There was no after taste either. I feel good that I'm able to consume so many vitamins so conveniently and quickly in one serving.

Breakfast Substitute

My son is not hungry when he gets up in the morning. I don't like him going to school on an empty stomach. He drinks these every morning. He likes the taste and it fills him until lunch time.

My Lunch-on-the-Go !

It's my lunch on the go when I do not have the time to take the time that happens every day of the week. Very good taste, really tastes pre-made chocolate milk. We are satiated for a few hours.

Convenient and healthy supplement option

I love these as a quick, convenient and cost effective option for a nutrition supplement. The powdered format means it won’t go bad as quickly as a premixed drink and if you only want a small serving you can mix less powder with your milk! All 3 flavours are great. Also a good option for kids who like to skip breakfast!

Carnation Breakfast Essentional powder mix is perfect for somebody who is on the go, need something quick in they morning before heading out to work/meeting. My kids also love it, give them a boost in he morning before school or sports.

Carnation Breakfast Essentials is a regular staple in my day for breakfast every morning. I have also used it for a quick protein pick me up during the day. I find one pack mixed with 2% milk will fill me up for about 3-4 hours in the morning. I have always loved the chocolate flavour and is the one I purchase most regularly. Carnation also sells a mixed pack of chocolate, strawberry and vanilla which I have also purchased as my family loves the other flavours. I wish they sold packages of only vanilla and only strawberry to give people a larger variety. I find the powder mixes well and is smooth to drink. The cost is a bit pricey for 10 packs at 6.99- 7.99 but if you can find them on sale it is usually a great deal. I will continue to buy these weekly.
