Made this one today as lunch for the kids. The taste and texture is not what they were used to and they did not want to eat it. I felt better eating it because of what is in it. Its a great product but for my super picky family this one was not a hit. I would eat it no problem but the rest of the fam would not.

I received a free box of Catelli Ancient Grains Rotini to try as part of the Product Review Club and used the enclosed recipe to make the rotini with the 3-peas and pesto. I found that the texture of the pasta itself was a bit rougher and more coarse in comparison to white pasta. However, I actually enjoy the texture and taste of it and knowing that it is healthy with the 5 ancient grains makes it even better! I prefer this healthier pasta over the regular white pasta. Both my husband and I really enjoyed this recipe and couldn't stop eating it! I would definitely purchase this product again and would recommend it to my family and friends. Delicious!

I received this product free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I found the taste to be a bit off. Though, I still felt better eating it because I knew it was a lot healthier for me than white pasta noodles. I just used a simple red sauce for this one with chopped peppers and some spices. I'm not sure if I will be adding this to our weekly dinner menu, but I will definitely consider it when i'm planning a pasta night.

I received the Catelli Ancient Grains from Chick Advisor to review. It's nutrition and healthy, the taste is really good compare to other products it's also really easy to cook to my preference, I will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Gotitfree from Chickadvisor. This pasta is really good. It gives you feeling of satisfaction after eating it as there is lot fiber and whole grains. Taste is not same as regular pasta. I added cloves while cooking them and that overpowered the grain taste.

I really wanted to enjoy this pasta, but it proved difficult. I find it a bit too robust and peasant-style, not too refined. I can't imagine a sauce that would go well with it. Adding vegetables helps to improve the taste, though. For people who want to enjoy guilt-free pasta, this might be a solid choice.
