Very surprised how fast it cooked and how wonderful it tasted! Was a different twist for the of noodles with a new recipe that I used! There is no difference between the regular noodles and Catelli Ancient Grains Rotini.

Cooked dinner with this pasta last night and it was a hit. You can taste the difference from regular pasta but in a good way. Loved knowing it was both healthy and tasty. The kids were a little wary of it because it looked different but once they tried it, they also really enjoyed it and had seconds. This product will be on my shopping lists in the future!

Since I am a ChickAdvisor I received the Catelli Ancient Grains Rotini for free. I was quite exited to try this product. My family eats pasta about once a week so this was right up our alley. I did not use the recipe on the catd that came with the kit. It just wasn't something that I knew we would like. I did however use a sundried tomato pesto and added extra sundried tomatoes to the finished product. I also served it with chicken breast and fresh garden salad to complete the meal. The past has a slight nutty taste to it which nobody in my family complained about (surprisingly) . I did find that I had to cook the pasta for about 1.5-2 minutes longer that the box said in order to get it to el dente. It holds its shape nicely still tasted good as leftovers the next day again without going soggy. My youngest child liked his meal so much that he asked for it to be sent in his lunch the next day! This ancient grain pasta is a great way to get more whole grains into your family maybe without them even knowing. I do however think that it needs a sauce to make it more pasta push in flavour, I didn't mind the taste without sauce but my family thought it definitely required sause. I would buy again for sure especially if there was a sale!

I tend to shy away from pasta, because while I am a busy mom of two, I'm also weary of feeding my family empty carbs. Precisely why this was right up my alley! I was impressed with the clean and natural ingredient list, and loved that the fibre is high while the sugars remained average for pasta. The blend of ancient grains is lovely to see, not to mention that it is GMO free.

I cooked it up following the recipe cards that came along with the Catelli package, and the entire family enjoyed it and didn't notice a difference to other pastas we've tried in the past. The price point is very reasonable and average to any mainstream pasta price. It cooked up perfectly and tasted great. I would not hesitate to purchase this product again in the future.

Thanks to Chickadvisor for selecting to review there pasta and I loved the Ancient Grains Rotini it was great knowing that I was feeding my family a healthy pasta that was GMO Free .. I made my pasta with a tomato based sauce and added goat cheese for a creamy taste and the flavour was amazing ! It was a huge hit in our home I will be buying this for sure !!

I was thrilled to be able to test this product for free for the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. First of all looking at the ingredients I was impressed. This is a completely whole grain pasta that offers 8 g of your daily fibre in one serving. When I served the pasta with tomato sauce and meatballs my kids gobbled it up and asked for seconds. That really impressed me! I loved the nuttier taste and texture of this pasta. As a bonus, it only took 6 minutes to cook. I will definitely be purchasing this pasta in the future.

I got this product free from chick advisor, I didn't tell the kids we were trying something different and they ate it up none the wiser. The texture was great

Thanks ChickAdvisor for the free try of Catelli Ancient Grains Pasta! Made the Pasta as a side dish - kids thought it was great - can definitely tell this is not a white pasta - the texture is much different - less smooth. Taste wise we felt that it has a deeper, almost nutty flavor - much more filling than white pasta - We would likely purchase this again - I think I would use in a pasta centered dish - the Catelli Ancient Grains Pasta would be great with Pesto, or as a Primavera.

I made the Rotini with 3 peas and pesto. I found the Catelli Ancient Grains Rotini to be very grainy tasting and had a bit of a different texture then i am used to. I probably would not buy this product again due to personal preference
