i have picky eaters at home and it's just really satisfying as a mom to give your kids vegetables in a way that they don't really notice. i cooked the recipe that Chick Advisor sent me together with the veggie spaghetti and my kids loved it. i even sent it for their lunch in school. kuddos to the idea of a veggie pasta!

I made spaghetti and meatballs and didn't even tell my husband I had made the switch! I told him after supper and while he said he didn't notice a difference, I did. I had always thought pasta was pasta was pasta. No real difference right? Well this veggie pasta proves me wrong.
While its not a bad taste by any means, most people would notice a taste difference. Its a bit blander than my normal pasta (also catelli!) but unless you're going to eat it with nothing on it, you're unlikely to notice it.
All in all, there is a slight taste difference, but its a healthier product and it won't hurt anything at all to make a switch!

I really like this pasta. It tastes like traditional white pasta but has a half serving of veg mixed into it. My son is getting more of his veggies than he knows when I make this for dinner :)

I received a package of Catelli smart veggie spaghetti for free to review from chickadvisor. I have bought this kind from Catelli, so I know I like it before even open the package. It looks and taste just like any other white pasta in the market if not any better, but it added more veggie nutrition and fiber. It also cook a little faster than regular pasta. Love it~

I have been choosing healthier options and was sad to cut out pasta. Catellie Smart veggie not only allowed me to have pasta again but also let me increase my daily amount of veggies. It cooked up easily and tasted great. The price is a bit more than regular pasta but I found it to still be reasonable.

I can't believe this is not 'White Traditional Pasta'. It has so much nutritionally rich nutrients inculding more fibre, and you would never know its not regular pasta. I have tried many 'non-white/traditional pastas' before and they are in one word DISGUSTING. This pasta however is AMAZING...Even my picky husband who just sees anything that says 'Fibre' or 'Whole Wheat' and automatically refuses to eat it LOVED this pasta.

It comes in a variety of shapes and cooks like regular Pasta. My only negative (and its not a BIG negative) is that this pasta is a little pricey when you compare it to other brands out there, but I have seen it go on sale before so you can stock up on it then.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a little healthier version of pasta and one that even the pickest eater will love!

My family LOVED the Catelli Smart Veggie Spaghetti. My husband made the suggested recipe of "Creamy One Pot Spaghetti" that was included in my package (#gotitfree via ChickAdvisor!) using the 'tips' of replacing the broccoli with cauliflower florets and the ham with sliced, cooked chicken breast. My two daughters aged 13 y/o and 15 y/o ate it with compliments and absolutely no complaints. We are all looking forward to having this again. I found that a smaller portion of this (compared to regular spaghetti) filled me up and kept me feeling full longer. (The box that we received the samples in - #gotitfree - was a pleasure to unwrap. Slightly different colour than the usual pasta but same great taste and texture! This is an excellent substitute for your regular pasta. Much better for you

My kids love to eat pasta just plain with nothing on it so the pasta has to taste GOOD. The flavour of Catelli Smart Veggie Spaghetti is kid and momma approved in this house. Overall, it's a good option compared to the regular spaghetti because of the added fiber and vegetable you get from this especially if you have a picky eater at home and you're trying to up their vegetable and fiber intake.

This has a similar concept to the Smart Kraft Dinner that came out a while back, both allowing you to up your veggie and fiber in take while not sacrificing any flavor. These types of products helps make a busy home life easier because I don't feel as bad when I just serve meatball and spaghetti without a side of vegetable.

So thumps up to Catelli!!
