I liked the Veggie pasta but my kids wouldn't touch it because of the colour. Even with spaghetti sauce on it, they noticed it looked different and that was enough for them to turn up their nose completely. I thought it was good (I really like vegetable pasta), and I would definitely eat it again but because the kids wouldn't eat it I probably wouldn't buy it. I think its a great idea to hide veggies inside the pasta, and if there was a way to to do it and have the pasta still retain the white look, texture and taste that would be better for my picky kids! Still a great product and I would recommend to anyone who isn't as picky as my children are!

I received a box of Catelli Smart Veggie Spaghetti free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club

Made spaghetti last night and was able to use my Catelli Smart Veggie Spaghetti that I received for free from Chickadvisor. It didn't take long to cook and didn't need much from the box to cover our serving portions. Tasted great with our homemade spaghetti sauce. My daughter is particular with her food and she didn't notice the difference from our regular pasta.

This was a great Catelli kit that arrived from ChickAdvisor (#gotitfree). It came with a potholder, two utensils, two packages of Catelli pasta and recipe cards. I was excited from the start! I liked the idea that this pasta had the added benefit of fibre and vegetables. I found it tasted a bit 'harder' than normal white pasta but I still enjoyed the taste. I would recommend this product to those who are seeking additional nutrients in their pasta.

I made the Catelli Veggie Spaghetti and tossed it with olive oil infused with sage and mushroom, tossed it with bread crumbs and some Italian seasoning. The kids devoured it!

I received a full sized package of Catelli Smart Veggie Spagetti from Chickadvisor and Catelli. The texture was pretty nice and the taste was really nice. I dont really think that the nutritional value of the vegetables makes a big difference. Overall my 6 year old liked it and it gave us a sense of well being.

It was really quite good, tasted just like regular spaghetti. My kids and husband loved it. I served it with out sauce, just with some oil, parmesan cheese and herbs. It made a really nice side dish and I liked that it added extra veggies to the meal too.

My family loved the catelli smart veggie spaghetti. They couldn't even tell that there were extra veggies in the noodles. I have to say this is the perfect answering to getting my picky eaters to eat their veggies! I will be buying them from now on! The noodles cooked up in the same time and had a great taste too!

Adds that extra serving of vegetables to your daily count. Tastes great. Made it with a healthy tomato sauce to compliment the pasta. Delicious!

i have picky eaters at home and it's just really satisfying as a mom to give your kids vegetables in a way that they don't really notice. i cooked the recipe that Chick Advisor sent me together with the veggie spaghetti and my kids loved it. i even sent it for their lunch in school. kuddos to the idea of a veggie pasta!

I made spaghetti and meatballs and didn't even tell my husband I had made the switch! I told him after supper and while he said he didn't notice a difference, I did. I had always thought pasta was pasta was pasta. No real difference right? Well this veggie pasta proves me wrong.
While its not a bad taste by any means, most people would notice a taste difference. Its a bit blander than my normal pasta (also catelli!) but unless you're going to eat it with nothing on it, you're unlikely to notice it.
All in all, there is a slight taste difference, but its a healthier product and it won't hurt anything at all to make a switch!
