I do like the effectiveness of this face cream, but I had an issue with it almost being too thick?? It was almost like it left a scum on some places of my face. I'm wondering if it was the sunscreen in it because I tried the CeraVe night cream and liked it a lot more.

I thought the lotion made my skin feel smooth. There was no heavy, waxy feeling

I usually have a hard time with lotions, my skin is sensitive, and if it actually agrees with my neck/face enough to wear it usually makes my skin oily or the scent will be too much for my allergies.

BUT with this product I was greatly pleased. My skin liked it, I had no breakouts and it kept the oils down to a bare minimum. And the scent was very pleasing. The spf was a wonderful addition to the lotion.

I definitely will continue to use this product and will most likely purchase it once my free bottle is gone.

Great Product!!

While I loved the CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion, I was less than impressed with the AM product. I found it oily and even using one pump was a bit much and I did notice that in the two weeks I used it, my skin felt greasy with the lotion in addition to my makeup. I also found the texture could have been more lightweight.

I'll start off by disclosing that I received the CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I am familar with the CeraVe line but haven't tried any of their products until now and I have to say that I loved this moisturizing lotion so much! Firstly the SPF 30 is awesome, I never leave the house within my sunscreen and it's difficutl to find a drugstore lotion with an SPF 30 that treats my combo mature skin. I found my skin maintained it's suppleness while any oiliness was held at bay. I am thrilled with the results and would definitely repurchase. I have already raved about this product to family and friends. This product receives at A

I recieved the an and pm lotion for free from chick advisor to review. I really like both lotion's. I found both to be very light weight and used a fair amount since the bottle didn't say how much to use. I was using a full pump on each half of my face and on my neck. On daddy's that I was going to wear makeup I only used one pump on my entire face because it was to oily to use anymore, I also used primer on top. I would say I have normal/combination skin. I like that this has SPF which is the reson I didn't not wear it on days that I used makeup. I would recommend this product and I would purchase it in the future. There is not an overwhelming sent either for those concerned.

I had the pleasure to try both the AM and PM lotion. My sister, living with me has dry skin - so I included her reviews as well which are surprisingly very different than mine.

CeraVe® AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30
Normal to Oily skin:
- a bit greasy, thick.
- difficult to put makeup over (high shine with makeup)
- prefers Cetaphil's daily moisturizer or CeraVe's daily moisturizer

Normal to Dry skin:
- loved it! Very thin application (for SPF included)
- Dries very quick
- Acts almost as a primer and flattens minor imperfections/blemishes
- may consider repurchasing in the summer

CeraVe® PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion
- we both liked this better. Thinner application
- however, we did not notice any "dramatic" difference, provided it has only been a couple of weeks.
- likely will not purchase as there is no "extra" benefits from our regular night cream.
- We both use Josie Maran's argan oil as our night serum

It is not harsh for skin and it works for me.
