It moisturises well, but is a touch pricier than I can afford to pay.
I received CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 30 free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I was disappointed in the or product I was hoping it would have of left my face feeling moisturized it felt heavy and greasy no matter how little I used or rubbed it in.
I received this lotion as part of the PRC.
I found this lotion to be quite heavy for day time use. I was really disappointed that it had a sunscreen smell to it. It's unscented, but it still smelled like it was a sunscreen. It wasn't easy to apply and it was kind of sticky. I might use this as a regular sunscreen, but I wouldn't be using it on my face. I have sensitive skin that ranges from normal to oily and just found it way to heavy.
I had been using a moisturizer before that had 15 SPF so I was happy to see that this lotion had an even higher SPF of 30 (sun protection = healthier skin!). However I was not that impressed with the product overall. My skin broke out in little bumps all over and my acne became pretty bad. It feels ok going on the skin but I found I preferred my other brand more. At $15/bottle I can't say I'd buy this product. I just didn't notice enough of a difference or benefit to justify seeking it out at that price. P.s., I went back to my old daytime moisturizer and my skin is back on track.
I use it on me as well as my daughter it make my skin and my daughters skin feel nice and soft. it also helps with my daughter eczema ever since I started to use it on her it has helped more the the stuff the doctors give her
im allergic to most things but i had no problems with this other than the price i love cerave!
I do like the effectiveness of this face cream, but I had an issue with it almost being too thick?? It was almost like it left a scum on some places of my face. I'm wondering if it was the sunscreen in it because I tried the CeraVe night cream and liked it a lot more.
While I loved the CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion, I was less than impressed with the AM product. I found it oily and even using one pump was a bit much and I did notice that in the two weeks I used it, my skin felt greasy with the lotion in addition to my makeup. I also found the texture could have been more lightweight.
