It is not harsh for skin and it works for me.

I found the cream to be noticeably thicker, shinier and slower to absorb than other facial moisturizers, which made putting makeup a lot more difficult. It was more uncomfortable to wear, as I was constantly aware of it`s presence, rather than my usual moisturizer which feels near weightless, absorbs readily and makes applying makeup a breeze. The only time I can see myself finishing the bottom would be in the summer when I would like the SPF protection and do not intend to wear makeup (e.g. walks, park visits, etc). It is also more expensive than my current moisturizer for a less desirable outcome.

On the positive side, I did like the pump dispenser better than my usual moisturizer which does not have any such mechanism. I found this made it effortless to control the amount of product being used, while mitigating waste.

As a result of the above, I would not recommend this product.

At first I loved it. I could see a huge difference in my face. After a couple of days my face was turning a bright red an felt like it was burning. I stopped using for a couple days and then tried it again and the same thing happened so I decided to stop using it all together.

I received this product as part of the Chick Advisor review club. The packaging for this product is quite boring and plain. I would not buy this product if I saw it in the store. I have oily skin so so a little nervous about using this product. I found the cream goes on quite thick and takes a while to dry in to my skin, it also felt quite heavy which I hate. Halfway through the day I had to wash my face because my skin was feeling like I had a mask on my face. The cream was too heavy for me and made my skin slightly break out. I would not buy this product. The positives for this product are that it doesnt have a strong scent and that it has SPF 30 which I love.

I was excited to try New CeraVe Am Facial Moisturizer as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club.

First thing I noticed was the package was very plain. Wouldn't likely draw my attention in a store. I did however like the pump dispenser packaging. I have tried this product for over 2 weeks now every morning.

Pros: No smell, was gentle on my skin

Cons: I found it very thick and heavy. The consistency was that of a thick sunscreen. Took a little while to absorb into my skin no matter how thin I tried to apply it.

Although I am thankful for the opportunity to test this product it is not something I would see myself buying. If in the future there was a lighter version I would try it again.

I was happy to received this product from the Chick Advisor review club. I Used it along with the pm moisturizer. The product kept my skin moisturized but my skin was a bit shinny. After using both products for a week my skin peeled and I noticed that my complexion was getting lighter so I stopped using it. This product is not for dark skinned women. I would only recommended for light skinned women. It did not work for me that is why I gave it 3stars.

I have combination skin and found this lotion lightweight and non greasy. It has a mild sunscreen scent when you first apply but this fade away quickly. After a week of changing my regular lotion to this product the skin around my nose which is usually dry began to crack so I had to switch back to my regular product on the dry skin. On the rest of my face where I have a mix of regular and an oily T-zone my skin remained smooth and soft. I would recommend this product to anyone without very dry skin.

I receive my CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 free from the ladies here at ChickAdvisor, thanks ladies. It’s quite thick however it goes on nicely and dries pretty fast as long as you don’t use a lot at a time. You really only need a small amount as it spreads very easily. I’ll be 48 in June and I’ve notice that my once oily skin has become quite dry in places with in the past few years. From the first day I tried this moisturizing lotion the dryness disappeared and the only time I have noticed it again was after I had washed with something that is to hush for my skin. On the other hand I have also noticed that it seems more like a sunscreen than a facial moisturizer, witch ended up increasing the amount of oil that my skin is now producing. With in just a few hours my face is covered in oil and by the end of the day it can become so bad that I can feel it burning my eyes. A quick wash takes care of this, but it’s been years since I’ve had to deal with so much oil on my skin and I’m not use to it. When I first started using it this also worried me because I was afraid that all this extra oil would cause my skin to start braking out. Unfortunately I was right and with in a week of using it my skin did begin to brake out. So this moisturizing lotion has its ups and its downs, but if you don’t have or never did have oily skin that tends to brake out, I would still recommend it to you. If you have skin like me than I would tell you to stay clear of it.

I reveiced this product in the mail for free to try through the review club. I have dry and sensitive skin and I found it good for my dryness I liked that there was no scent and it was very light and easy to go on , not greasy at all and you need to use very little. however i did not notice a great difference in my skin by using it there fore i am greatful for the chance to try the product but i would not buy it myself

I received the CeraVe AM Lotion as a product tester and actually quite liked it.
I found it made my skin very soft and smooth but I found it did not make much difference in
any skin issues.
For me personally I think it is a bit pricey so I cannot say I would purchase it over my regular face lotions.
