Horrible Residue

I really like Cerave moisturizer products but I was sooooo disappointed with this AM moisturizer. I tried to make it work, and kept using it because I had already spent the money on it, but half way through the bottle of just TRYING to make it work, I ended up having to throw it out. I couldn't even feel good about giving it away to a friend because it just sucked that much. It leaves a horrible white residue all over my face because of the SPF. My boyfriend would make comments about white stuff on my face and would have to pick pieces off my face from time to time. DO NOT buy this AM one with SPF. I would however, recommend the normal moisturizer.

I would have given more stars but I find it can be difficult to really know how a product like this works unless you can you use it it for a length of time which with this small tube it is difficult, from the uses I got it seemed to be pretty decent.

Is it supposed to dry my skin??

I had high expectations for this product because cerave is widely used for anyone with skin issues. The consistency was very thick, but thicker than a normal lotion. Once I tried it on my skin, it made my skin feel sticky AND it didn't moisturize my skin! After using it, my skin still felt dry.. it was not a good time for me. This might work for people with oily skin and definitely not for dry skin folks.

I received this product as a sample from my dermatologist. I was allured by the high SPF and this stuff dissapointed me. This lotion is really thick and feels like I'm rubbing glue into my skin. Its incredibly hard to work in. After five minutes of rubbing my face was a greasy, white mess. I kept rubbing but the lotion started to roll off of my face in little balls.

So I figured the lotion needs to absorb into my skin more. I stopped rubbing and waited twenty minutes. When I came back my skin was still greasy and still had this ghostly white cast.

I could not believe this was from Cerave. Normally their products are so good. I couldn't wear this awful stuff outside, I just washed it off.

I was very disappointed with this cream. I thought it would be lighter for a more sensitive application. I found it too thick and left a residue look on my face.

I was among one of the LUCKY ones to try the CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30. I honestly do not have much to say about this product as I did not feel it worked at all. I found it to make my face very greasy and I have stopped using it after the 2 week Trial. The price is reasonable but I don't recommend this lotion.

Not only was I HUGELY disappointed in how heavy the cream was, but I had to reapply 2-3 times daily to feel moisturized.

I received this product from Chick Advisor and was very excited to try it but unfortunately after trying it for the first time it made my face red and irritated like I was allergic to something in it. I don't usually have overly sensitive skin so I was surprised it effected me that way. Not for me but maybe other people will be able to sue it.

This unfortunately is not a product I would buy.
I have combination skin, and when apting the this lotion it just say on the surface of my skin, I rubbed it in for 2 minutes, and it just looked like smeared on suntan lotion, and blech it reeked like it too!
I get that it has SPF but shouldn't smell like 1980s sunblock.
I can see why it would protect you from the sun, it's like wearing a white Elmer's glue paste on your face.
Sorry but this is definitely not a product for me.

it is light for a spf lotion and not greasy.
