The cream didn't stick well enough to work as good as it could. It helped to dry out the rash a little bit but because its more like a cream it comes off. It's not thick enough to stay on the skin.
CeraVe Baby Diaper Rash Cream helps to treat and prevent diaper rash and help repair and restore baby's delicate skin barrier. I found that it worked well and left a protective barrier that sealed out wetness without the thick, sticky mess that most other creams leave behind.
• Helped to treat and prevent diaper rash
• Protected chafed skin due to diaper rash and helped to seal out wetness
• InvisibleZinc helped treat, prevent and soothe diaper rash
• Three essential ceramides helped repair the skin barrier
• It has a unique non-greasy formula absorbs quickly, leaving no mess behind
• Lasted between diaper changes
In the end I felt this cream is much like the others, not special in anyway. I would buy this product if it were on sale.
The quality of this stuff is really nice consistency, thick without being sticky but my little one is SO sensitive skinned and she broke out the first time we used it.
(she has her dad's skin - and he gets chemical burns from most baby wipes!)
I found it to be to light of a cream and it didn't protect my daughters bum like other diaper creams
My son has sensitive skin so I need to use a diaper rash cream often. I always use zinc creams that are thick and messy so I was excited to try the Cerave, as it goes on clear. Unfortunately I did not find it to be as effective as regular zinc creams and would not repurchase.
I found this product worked pretty good. Pretty well the same in effectiveness as other diaper rash creams that I've used. Bottom line is it works well.
The CeraVe Bebe Diaper Rash cream was a great size tube that it came in so it will last you a while. But the quality of it isn't the greatest. The first time i used it one my diaper it almost seemed like it wasn't enough protection against the wet so it seemed like she got a rash almost easier then if i bought her a different brand. There is not much of a scent to it which i don't mind. It's not greasy either. The fact that it comes in a tube is nice because it's much easier to squeeze some out of a tube then sticking your fingers into a small jar/container. The feel of it is more of a lotion and goes on easy. If she did get a diaper rash this product did not work to take it away at all! I then had to resort to using a different diaper rash cream then.
I got this product for free for testing purposes.
This is a better deterrent than fix, as once the rash started this cream didn't stop the progression but did soothe it. If I just used it regularly i found there were less rashes in general
