My son who is almost 1, recently had a bad rash. I had tried a few creams at my local pharmacy and nothing seemed to work.

After taking him to the doctor he had recommended to me to try CeraVe.

Most creams had seemed to just add a Vaseline like barrier to them but this cream seemed to penetrate and actually stay on the skin.

Within a few uses, I had noticed that it was starting to clear up (finally, poor guy)

I like the thickness of the cream, a little goes a long way! I like the natural ingredients in the product.

I like that it is super easy to apply and mess free.The constancy is more like a moisturizer and not at all sticky like other products I have tried. There is also hardly any scent. I liked the fact that it made the skin super smooth.

It did clear up some redness that my baby had in the creases but not sure if the zinc concentration is high enough to clear up a bad rash. Overall it worked as a great barrier cream.

Since using this diaper cream my son hasn't had a diaper rash rash. The cream is really smoother and a little goes a long way. It doesn't have an over powering smell and it's an affordable price.

I have tried others and this one is the best so far.It went on quite easily and smoothly. I would definitely recommend it!

Not had much use for this product in the last 2 weeks but know that Cereave is a wonderful and very trustworthy brand. It certainly does seem to work ! Thanks for the trial sample .... will certainly recommend this to others in the future!

I received this diaper cream as part of the Product Revie Club to test from Chickadvisor. Overall it was a great product compared to other diaper creams that are in the market. It was easy to apply and went on smoothly. I would totally recommend it!

My baby is my world so any products that I use I carefully scrutinize. I received this as part of the Product Review Club and applied this gradually with increasing applications to try it out. Now my baby didn't have a rash at the time, but I do apply rash creams or lotions on occasion depending on the number of "episodes" baby has for prevention.

I love that there's no strong fragrance or perfumes in the cream and that it's non greasy, no mess and no fuss. It didn't irritate my baby's skin as its hypoallergenic and I even caught a few smiles on his face when I was applying it :) Most importantly, I can trust this product and the CeraVe name is one I admire.

Finally, if you're a mom like me who does her research, it free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates. In other words, it's good stuff.

This diaper rash cream works in that my baby's rashes were less prominent and inflamed. I wouldn't say that it works better than other brands, but that it works just as effectively. I started seeing improvements within a week of application. I would recommend this product to other moms out there!

With two little ones at home in diapers, I was excited to be chosen to test this product. I like the product package as it's easier to not contaminate the product when it's in a tube versus a tub; I also like how light it is in texture versus some other products on the market that are quite thick and sticky, and the fact that it's scent-free. While neither of my kids had diaper rashes during the two-week testing period, the cream still seemed to keep their bottoms nice and moist and I think the zinc oxide helps to prevent rashes as well. There were no negative reactions on their skin so that's a good sign as well. I will recommend and continue to use this product.

1. How did this product perform based on its advertised benefits? (e.g. improvement in appearance, gentle on skin, etc). THIS PRODUCT WORKED VERY WELL. IT WAS SMOOTH AND EASY TO APPLY. THE CREAM IS NOT PASTY AND STICK TO THE BABY. HOWEVER, I DID NOT LIKE THAT IT CAME IN A TUBE. I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED THAT IT CAME IN A TUB. THE REASON IS BECAUSE YOUR HANDS ARE DIRTY AT THE DIAPER CHANGES AND I WOULD HAVE TO PICK UP THE TUBE TO SQUEEZE THE PRODUCT OUT. IT SQUEEZED OUT EASILY THOUGH. ALSO, HAVING A BOY MY DIAPER CHANGES HAVE TO BE SWIFT TO AVOID THE "PEE FOUNTAIN" AS PARENTS OF BOYS CAN PROBABLY ATTEST TO. HAVING TO PICK UP THE TUBE WITH BOTH HANDS TO SQUEEZE PRODUCT OUT WASTES TIME.

2. How did this product perform compared to other similar products you may have used in the past? COMPARED TO OTHER PRODUCTS, THIS CREAM IS SMOOTH, EASY TO APPLY, NOT MESSY LEAVING CREAM ALL OVER THE TUBE, ODORLESS, NOT STICKY AND PASTY. HOWEVER, COMPARED TO OTHER PRODUCTS, I DO NOT PREFER THE CREAM IN THE TUBE.

3. Based on your experience, is this a product you'd buy again and/or recommend to a friend? YES I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO A FRIEND.
