I had the opportunity to try the CeraVe Eye Repair Cream and was pretty disappointed. While I found it quite moisturizing and comfortable on my skin it did irritate my eyes. I found my eyes to slightly burn even though I was very careful to keep the cream far enough under my lash line and while wearing my eyes continually watered. It did work well under my makeup though and once it was dry was completely un-noticeable which is really important to me. When it came to actual effectiveness I personally didn't notice any change in either the bags under my eyes or fine wrinkles unfortunately.
I put You Betcha but I need to change it to no
This was the one I was most looking forward to trying since it's the feature that needs the most work for me! I have tried similar products but have had limited success. Although I haven't really seen results with this one, my skin did feel smoother and moisturized when I used it. It goes on easily with no heavy residue and is good to use twice a day. The price is a bit better than some competitors, but without seeing complete results, I would be hesitant to recommend it right away. I will continue using it though and see how it works in time.
I received CeraVe Eye Repair Cream to review from ChickAdvisor. I initially I found the cream a little too thick for my eyes, but it did minimize the dark circles. I liked the packaging and it was easy to apply. I feel like the packaging might appeal to both men and women as it's pretty neutral.
The Cerave line is great for dermatologist-approved and relatively allergen-free products. However, this product doesn't live up to the promise of reducing puffyness and dark circles, despite a month of use. It has a great combination of ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide; however, the benefits were limited. I wouldn't buy this product again.
I found this product to go on light and absorbed quickly. It did not leave a greasy feeling like a lot of eye creams. I did find it moisturized but no different then my current eye cream. I didn't really see a reduction in my dark circles or puffiness. I'm not sure if I would switch fro my current brand to this one. I am still on the hunt for an eye cream that will truly reduce my under eye circles.
I did get this product for free for review.
It's moisturizing but doesn't have much "repair" quality. I have never found an eye repair cream to actually be effective so this doesn't surprise me. Price point is certainly better than department store brand products.
After using it consistently for approx 1 week, I didn't see any changes at all. I don't have large under eye bags to begin with, but I thought i would feel a tightening at least in the skin there, but there was nothing. I wouldnt recommend this to people that have barely visible under eye issues
the eye cream did moisturize, but that's all it did. it didn't get rid of dark circles or lighten them. if a company puts these statements on their products, i want them to be accurate. it was still a nice eyecream, i really liked that you had to squeeze it out, instead of putting your fingers in there.
Used and liked the product but didn't love it. Took multiple uses before I noticeda difference.
I was happy to receive the CeraVe Eye Repair cream to review since I love CeraVe products. they are great on my sensitive skin.
I used the eye repair cream nightly and found that it went on smoothly with no irritation. I didn't find it did much in the way of firming or moisturizing the eye area.
If you are looking for a preventative eye cream or have younger skin this may be a great product for you. As someone with more mature skin I didn't find a difference in my eye area at all.
