this is the best drugstore soap free cleanser i have used till date. specially during winters its a great cleanser for my dry skin which becomes more dry with the regular heating inside the house/ buildings . it has ceramides which are very good for skin . its actually hydrating but not a great option to wash off your makeup with this. i use this as my morning cleanser and in the night when i dont use makeup.
This is the only cleanser I can use without drying out my skin. It cleanses and takes away all the dirt without drying out the skin. A lot of cleansers give me flaky skin but this didn't.
My skin is very sensitive and this face wash is the only one that doesn't dry it out or break me out. I'm not sure how well it cleans, but as long as my face stays clear I am assuming it's doing the job. It remains gel-like and does not foam. This doesn't work well to remove makeup so I'd suggest removing makeup before using.
I got this as a sample from my dermatologist and I'm enjoying it! I like the way it cleanses my skin without leaving a "pulling" or dry feeling. It can also function as an eye makeup remover, as long as you're not wearing too much makeup, mascara and eyeliner is fine but anything beyond that will probably needed another eye makeup remover.
I stopped using the hydrating cleanser and am now using the foaming facial cleanser as I have oily combination skin and found that this just wasn't helping at all with oil build up.
That being said, I would recommend this cleanser to anyone with a normal or dry complexion. It's very hydrating, has fewer ingredients in it than more expensive and chemically treated cleansers. It is a bit pricey considering the amount you get, but a little does go a long way. My bottles generally last for 5 months approximately with twice daily use. I also found that it does remove makeup, but not as well as my Loreal brand which is specially designed for makeup removal.
I have been using skin ceuticals brand of high end face products for about 8 years. I recently switched to Cerave as a result of a Dermatologist and pharmacist recommendation. CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser is so gentle that I can use it on my body and face. I also use their Facial Moisturizing Lotion with spf 30. Cerave works just as good as the expensive high end brands at a fraction of the cost.
I have been using this cleanser for a couple of weeks and it works great for moisturizing my skin. I was recommended to try it by my dermatologist. Its a little pricy compared to other products in this category but definitely worth the investment. I think I paid between 12 and 15 for it. I am pleased with the results and will continue to buy.
A bit expensive but worth it. Effectively removes make-up yet still gentle on the skin. First-class ingredients used in product. Highly recommended
I am 40, with sensitive, flaky Rosacea skin. Oily in the t zone though. I get breakouts too. Yay.
This face wash is gentle, doesn't cause breakouts and is moisturizing. I still need to use a separate eye make up remover, but this works well for everything else unless my skin is really dry then I find some foundation is still cemented in those dry spots so I gently wash again.
Most importantly, the cost is not bad, the product is gentle and it works. Until I find something better this is my go to face wash.
