The description says it increases the skin’s ability to attract, hold, and distribute moisture. It penetrates deep into the layers of the stratum corneum to help to replace deficient levels of key lipids that are essential for an effective skin barrier.
I don't know about all that, but it is lighter than the AM, which is good, because I wouldn't put cream or lotion on twice, it would be too cloggy. I don't use a AM and a PM cream/lotion, but it's probably a good idea as I get older.

I really liked the CeraVe PM facial moisturizing lotion. I really enjoyed how well it absorbed into my skin and how nice it made my skin feel. The only dilemma I encountered is that it is light enough for the hot weather but I need a heavier moisturizer for the winter weather when my skin gets extra dry.

i dont like the price but it works well even with my allergies so i might buy it again

I was stoked to receive this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. My skin is always so parched by the end of the day and it feels tight and itchy. This product completely eliminated those problems and was left smooth and moisturized. I have not used many night time lotions but compared to the ones I have tried, this product is hands down the best. I would totally purchases and recommend it in the future!

I'm not a fan of night creams, I tend to forget to use them. But when I did use this one it absorbed well, no greasy feeling.

This night cream is the perfect compliment to it's daytime counterpart. It's unscented and extremely moisturizing without leaving my face feeling greasy. Since I've started to use it I notice that I wake up with a glow to my skin that I didn't realize was previously lacking.

I have sensitive skin that is easily irritated but this product is gentle enough for me to use. Since I've been using it (along with the daytime moisturizer), my skin has become less prone to breakouts. My tone has evened out and my skin looks much healthier.

This is a great nighttime facial moisturizer, which is definitely worth every penny. I love how the product has a non greasy, light texture that allows my skin to breathe. So many products out there claim to be light in texture but are very thick when applied. This product however is light, yet the hyaluronic acid really penetrates deep into the skin to hold on to and distribute moisture. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone!. I also believe the price is very comparable to other products on the market.

I was very happy to try and review this product as part of the Product Review Club. I llllooooovvvveeeedddd this one! It was so nice and light with no heavy feeling at all. I have never been a fan of creams or lotions on my face due to the greasy feeling - this one is so non-greasy and light that it hardly feels like you have anything on at all. I would highly recommend this one to anyone

Loved the feel that it gave me on my skin. I actually saw an improvement in my skin after using it for a few weeks. I have rreplaced my moisturizing lotion for CeraVe !!
