When I went to the dermatologist in high school complaining of acne, I had been using various harsh face washes assuming that burning = good. The dermatologist sent me home with samples of Cetaphil and it's awesome! It's so gentle, it has no smell, but it works! It really is kind and moisturizing to ones skin. (Not moisturizing in an oily way, but in a fresh way.) I have experimented with many cheap and expensive face washes over the years since then, but I always keep a bottle of cetaphil in my shower. It's a fantastic bargain, and it makes my skin very happy.
This cleanser did not clear up my skin BUT it was very gentle on my sensitive. Cetaphil does not sting my face nor does it sting when I use it. There is no tingling sensation. It is a great cleanser for everyday use.
I got some free samples of this product in the mail.. ok maybe its just me... I have very oily skin and thought this product would be great. It did not work well for me.. it really dried my skin out.. this product is not for me.
Very helpful and was great for removing makeup and clearing up my acne while visiting the acne clinic.
My dermatologist recommended this product for any skin type. He even said you don't have to rinse it off with water. I use it twice daily, religiously. I love how gentle it is. I even use it to remove eye makeup, and it doesn't burn my eyes. I love it.
Just started breaking out a bit and was getting worried and saw the Cetaphil cleanser here on Chick Advisor that it had so many great reviews and high rates and went and purchased it last night and I already see my face much better this morning. I LOVE IT!...& I LOVE CHICK ADVISOR TOO! :D I have been using Proactiv for more than 5 years and it has help me with acne but do get every now and then a few pimples nothing like before and not as big and ugly, just small blemishes but Proactiv does take time to clear your face and their 1st step cleanser is smaller and can be more expensive than Cetaphil which is a bigger bottle. I think I'm changing Proactiv's cleanser and sticking with Cetaphil.
