I love Cetaphil wash and lotion. They're refreshing for my skin and don't cause any irritation. My dermatologist also recommended it, since it's great for sensitive and breakout-prone skin. I've found that the generic brands work just as well, and are a couple bucks cheaper.
My dermatologist recommended the Cetaphil line for my sensitive and acne prone skin. I had never even heard of it before but it is worth every penny. The Daily Facial Cleanser is different from the Gentle Skin Cleanser (which is a different consistency and can be used without water). This is a foaming face wash without any fragrance, dyes or fillers. It washes away impurities (makeup, dirt, oil) and leaves your skin feeling soft and supple. It helps with my pores and gives me an unmatched glow. I find that if I don't use it regularly I'm more prone to breaking out and my skin appears dull. I tried every cleanser under the sun - Neutrogena, Clearasil, Clean and Clear. Non of them worked anywhere near as well (even though they put so much more into advertising) - Cetaphil has really spread via doctor recommendations and word of mouth. Even if you find you don't like the Daily Facial Cleanser, try one of their other products - the Gentle Skin Cleanser, the bar, the moisturizing cream, the lotion - you should be able to find a Cetaphil product that you will not want to go without.
The most gentle cleanser available - anytime my skin freaks out I always return to this staple. I like that it can also be used without water (great for camping!). It's the only thing that hasn't caused my skin to completely break or dry out.
Love it for all the reasons previously listed, but want to add that it also works better then any shave lotion out there. Yup, it's a double duty product - cleanser and shave lotion. I will never shave my legs with anything else from hereonout
This only pertains to the blue-label gentle skin cleanser; I haven't tried the green-label stuff. Forget expensive cleansers. Cetaphil is cheap, and the best thing for your skin. A friend with acne-prone skin was told by her dermatologist to use this. And my brother, who has psoriasis, was told by his dermatologist to use this, both on his face and in the shower instead of soap. I live in Calgary (very drying), and this cleanser is gentle and good for my sensitive skin.
It's not too drying, and is great for removing makeup. Also, it can be used with or without water.
It is non-comedogenic and non-irritating - perfect for my sensitive skin. I've been using these products for over 10 years and have not had any problems with it.
Since my skin is sensitive and combination, Cetaphil is great because it's a gentle cleanser and has no scent. I see it in Instyle Magazine all the time as a top cleanser - used by celebrities as well.
The only cleanser that doesn't strip moisture from my face. Extremely gentle and soothing feeling on the skin.
This stuff takes makeup off beautifully and cleanses gently without drying out my skin. It's cheap and easy to use - I love it.
