It is gentle!

I like this cleanser, it is strong enough to clear impurities and makeup but yet so gentle. I have oily/combination skin and it works good on my skin. Most of the time I use it before bed. Good for sensitive skins.

Great for the value

My skin gets irritated easily during the winter and these product helped me so much. It calmed and soothed my skin just about fully the week after I bought it. Well worth the money, in my opinion.

Love the ease of cleansing my face, it’s so Light and easy to apply, it doesn’t irritate my eyes or skin and wipes off easily leaving my skin makeup free and not dried out

My ride or die cleanser for sensitive skin

Like so many other people who review this product, I have been using the cleanser since I was a teenager. Out of all the products that have come and gone from my skincare routine, this has always remained a solid. It is gentle on even sensitive skin, has no scent whatsoever and does not irritate my face or eyes in any way. It leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed after you rinse it off without feeling like it has left any residue. Considering the price point of many other cleansers these days, you cannot beat the price point here. A large bottle lasts me almost a year and it’s less than $20. Though I am an adult now and only have the odd breakout to deal with, I attribute my scarce acne throughout my teens into adulthood to this cleanser. Everyone used to ask me why I never got any pimples and I am 100% convinced it is due to my habitual use of Cetaphil. If you are looking for a gentle daily cleanser that will leave your skin feeling and looking visibly clean and refreshed, give this a try. It seems like most people who do never look back.

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser - is good/recommended by derms

Cetaphil Skin Cleanser is a good soft & gentle skin cleanser. I appreciate that it can be used dry and or wet, and that it is recommended by dermatologists. I just wish that this product wasn't so expensive in stores, and that it contained more natural (less oil stripping) ingredients. *fyi, I suffer from skin conditions and have my whole life, so this is my go to when my skin is acting up/out.

Actually NOT for acne

I used this diligently under the advice of my dermatologist for years. I wish I had not.

There are much better options out there. Cetaphil actually contains harsh surfactants that dry out your skin. It also contains nothing that helps with exfoliation which acne must have in order to clear it. After switching to Vichy's Normaderm line and then trying Neostrata's line for acne, my skin cleared up IMMENSELY.

Doctor approved

I had gone to the doctors for acne and she had recommended this face wash to me to help My acne. And it does work, it is very gentil on your face. Just leaves your face soft and doesn’t cause redness. This has changed my life.
