My go to!
Light, fresh, and no added BS. Its light and clears my skin so nicely. Takes my makeup off so nicely. Absolutely a must have in the bathroom and part of my beauty routine.
Very good for dry-super dry skin
Cetaphil is one of my emergency product for my skin. When I was still in Saudi, my skin suffered a lot from dryness because of humidity. And so I went to different kinds of derma and nothing helped me in what they prescribed. I ended up trying this Cetaphil product as suggested by another Filipina nurse I knew. And it did the work, summer or winter. :)
Good basic cleanser
It is very gentle and does the job for those who are just looking for a basic cleanser. Does not remove makeup very well. If you have dry or sensitive skin I would definitely recommend it.
Not the best
I got a small sample of this product and I was not a fan. This cleanser did not make my skin any better or worse in the time that I used it. Will not be buying again
Not bad but not my favourite
I got this product as a sample and it's not bad. I find that made my skin feel nice and clean afterwards but it's not any different from my usual facial cleanser. I was hoping it would be able to lessen the oil on my face but it didn't so I won't be puchasing this product.
Not as good as it once was
Maybe my skin has changed or maybe the formula has but this does not work for me anymore. I used to use this religiously both every day and during drug studies but not anymore. My dermatologist recommended this due to my eczema and sensitive skin and I have been using it for over a decade but during my last flare up I found it dried my skin even more and irritated my eczema. It is definitely over priced but used to be worth it but no more.
Was very happy with it
I first used this product at my friends house. I wasn't expecting anything besides a regular cleanser but this actually worked great. I ended up buying my own bottle and was very impressed especially as I have sensitive skin and other regular cleansing products can dry out my skin. I now go back and forth when buying cleansers but this one is one of my go to's.
I always go back to this cleanser.
For years I have been using Cetaphil Cleanser, which was recommended by my dermatologist for my acne prone skin and oily skin. It has helped my skin tremendously, leaving it soft and smooth with a clean feeling. Its gel texture has no particular scent, and is gentle enough to use to remove eye makeup as well. If you are looking for a cleanser that cleans well the skin, and goes a long way, Cetaphil will do the trick.
One of my favourites
I alternate between this cleanser and another one.
This one does not dry out my skin, and leaves it feeling very soft. It cleans my face very well, and gets off any excess dirt or makeup residue.
It does not foam up, or have any smell to it, so it is great for sensitive skins. The only reason that I alternate between this and something else is because I like something with a stronger smell in the morning to help me wake up.
Other than that, this cleanser is really great for after exfoliation of your skin, and is very gentle but effective!
Gentle, but not noteworthy
I tried a sample of this from my dermatologist's office to see if it was gentle enough for my skin when I was on acutane. To be honest, I found it to be extremely similar to the Spectro Gel I was using, which I found to be very similar to the generic store brand of the very same thing. So, case in point, if any cleanser claims to be gentle and fragrance free, then chances are it is just the same as any other. Nothing wrong with it, but it isn't spectacular enough to purchase it over another, similar brand.
