I recently purchased this as it was a great deal and I assumed it was just like Spectro Gel. I suffer from rosacea and thought this would work well. I was very disappointed! I found it oily and had a funny smell. It flaired up my rosacea. I used the product until it was almost gone but will not be using it in the future. I much prefer Spectro Gel.
This cleanser is made for people with a wide range of skin conditions/problems. The formula is also available in Sensitive Skin. This cleanser is gentle on my face, cleans away dirt and oil, and leaves my skin soft and smooth. It is a little expensive for thr larger formats, but great for everyday use. It's also Dermatologist approved. I picked up the travel size at Shopper's to try.
I'm not a very big fan of cetaphil when compared to spectro jel. The extra chemicals and watered down texture turned me off this face cleaner. I used the last 1/2 of the bottle to shave my legs. It was a good shaving cream!
This is the best. Uncomplicated, cost effective and gentle. I have worked at various cosmetic counters In Australia, in skin care and make up, high end to lower and really, they are competitive, over perfumed and so over priced. I have tried them all. The whole range of Cetaphil is great. Though I do use wipes to remove my make up.
I love this product! It's formula doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and it is a great way to remove make-up and cleanse at the same time. It removes mascara and other eye make-up without any stinging. Also, it doesn't dry out your skin, which is great if you have dry/sensitive to normal/combination skin, but if your skin is quite oily, you might want to consider using their foaming cleanser for oily skin. Another great feature is that you can use this product with or without water, which makes it ideal for travelling, camping, etc. The price point isn't particularly low so I watch for a sale and stock up. For anyone with problem skin (acne, rosacea, sensitivity, etc.) I have had more than one dermatologist recommend it to me for those types of conditions.
I use cetaphil daily cleanser. It is gentle on the skin and I find it you don't have very much makeup on it can be used without water, which is great because I have eczema.
I love this product for my oily ance prone skin. Its kinda expensive but if you can go to the states and get it there its worth your money.
I have been using Cetaphil for 6 years!! 6 years ago, I had a terrible acne breakout. I went to a specialist derm and he suggested I use this.. I have been using this ever since! It's a mild cleanser, great for sensitive/acne prone skin. I wear a specialized night cream to help prevent/zap my hormonal pimples and this cleanser helps the effectiveness of my medication because it is not loaded with chemicals.
I use the Oily Skin cleanser, I feel like it does a better job cleaning than the Normal skin one (for my skin)
