Life-Saver for Oily Skin – My Go-To Cleanser!

I’ve been using the Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser for a while now, and honestly, it’s the only thing that keeps my skin balanced. I have combination skin that tends to get oily, especially around the T-zone, and this cleanser does wonders without over-drying. It’s super gentle, and I love that it doesn’t leave that tight feeling after washing. My skin feels clean, refreshed, and it’s really helped control my breakouts. If you have oily or sensitive skin like mine, I highly recommend giving it a try!

Perfect for Skin Both Oily and Sensitive

I have been a fan of Cetaphil products for a long time, using the Gentle Skin Cleanser and their Daily Facial Moisturizer for years. That being said, I have never tried the Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser. I have both sensitive and oily skin. But, after so many bad experiences with oily skin cleansers that left my skin red and irritated for days, I have stayed away from them, until now. I purchased the Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser about two weeks ago and have been using it every morning as part of my daily hygiene/facial care routine. Although I was a bit worried that this product too, like the others, would irritate my sensitive skin, those worries were quickly put to rest. Every time that I used this facial cleanser, my face felt cleaner and looked fresher afterwards. Because my skin is oily, I have fair sized pores and a shine to my skin. So, one thing that I appreciate about this cleanser is that my pores and shine have become less prominent with consistent use. Best of all, for me, is that there is no bothersome redness left on my face afterwards!

The cleanser itself is very light. It's a creamy liquid cleanser that is very easy to work into a lather all over the face. You also just need one pump to get the job done. As such, the 500 ml size product should last quite a while. The product also rinses off easily and doesn't leave any unpleasant film or feeling after use.

If I would offer one thing to improve upon, it would be the smell. Although I did not need a lot of product to wash my face, I found that even when taking just one pump of the creamy liquid wash into my hands, I could smell it. It wasn't entirely unpleasant but it is strong.

Overall, this is a fantastic facial cleanser. I love it as much, if not more than the Cetaphil products that I already use. I feel like I can finally clean my tricky skin properly, taking care of both the oily characteristics but the sensitive ones as well! Yes, I would recommend this product.

Lovely product, but…

I do love how clean this cleanser leaves my face due to how much it foams, but I must say I do not like the fact that it is scented. I wish it weren’t but overall, nice product! My face doesn’t react badly to it

Great quality products for sensitive skin

The Cetaphil line is great for those with sensitive skin or special skin care needs. This is fragrance free and ‘hypoallergenic’ and safe for ‘most’ individuals. The only downsides are that it does not do a very good job of removing make up, or with exfoliation, but is good for oily skin. Lastly, although it is available in most stores, the price point is quite high for a basic daily cleanser.

Works amazing

I liked that it has no scent. Bubbles up amazing and it works awesome on your face and makes your face feel so smooth after! Would definitely recommend too my friends !

Not sure about this

Ever since I used this I break out more than normal and my skin is very dry or other times very oily I’m going to discontinue using this product and update this review

Staple to my skincare routine

The Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleaner is a must have in a skincare routine for anyone who has oily skin. This gentle cleanser removes excess oil and when paired with a serum and moisturizer will leave your skin feeling healthy

Great for oily skin

This is the best daily cleanser to use for oily skin! It strips all of the excess oil and dirt from my skin but leaves it hydrated. So gentle on your skin at the same time!

Would 100% recommend

This is fab I bought this in Tesco for £8 and it’s great! It has made my pores look smaller and the blackheads on my nose have almost completely disappeared and the skin looks smooth and I have only been using it a week so I’m excited to see what my skin will look like after a month. I also want to try some more products from this brand now
