After trying multiple products over the years I have reached the conclusion that Chanel cosmetics is a waste of money.

At their shadows have zero pigmentation. The fallout of these shadows is just as bad. Lasting power is a joke. Really the only quality about this product is the packaging, so it is perfect for someone who loves to howoff the big Chanel logo when she touches up in the bathroom. I personally felt stupid for paying so much for a pretty box.

At this price point, it is fair to expect the products to perform better than drugstore ones, even if just slightly. Alas, Chanel has always been disappointing.

This is an excellent range of color for those who like more sultry shades of taupe and khaki. I love khaki because it pairs up so well with my blue eyes. Chanel takes khaki and pairs it up with subtle touches of taupe to give eyes a seductive edge. The texture of these shades runs a little drier with a more powdery texture that kicks up a fair bit of powder when I swirl a brush in it. The shades apply quite sheer. It’s a little difficult getting any real contrast from shades like this as they are all running together and going muddy against each other so be patient and you will be able to create the best eye look.
