Rich and creamy flavor

Thanks to Butterly, Chickadvisor and Chapman's I was given the chance to try Chapman's No Sugar Added Lactose-Free Coffee & Chocolate Ice Cream.

I am moderately Lactosose intolerant. That means that except for certain types of dairy products, I need Lactose Enzymes to be able to digest the food without problems. I developed this in my mid-20s.

The ice cream is rich-tasting, creamy and delicious. The coffee and chocolate flavors are balanced perfectly.
There is no sugar added, the ice cream is sweetened with Maltitol and Sucralose.

I was surprised to see fresh cream and skim milk powder in the ingredient list. There is lactase in the ingredients but down the list, and as it's consumed with the ice cream, it's usefulness is questionable. How lactose-free is the ice cream?

Overall I really enjoy Chapman's No Sugar Added Lactose-Free Coffee & Chocolate Ice Cream, but I will continue to do so with my lactose pills.

Hard to find

I’ve been searching for the product from different grocery stores nearby but took me couple of weeks and finally found the flavour assigned to me. There are other different kinds in store but the Chocolate and Coffee are hard to find.

I like how it’s not very sweet which I prefer how my ice cream would be. But I can’t really seem to taste the chocolate in there. There’s a bit hint of coffee that over powers the whole experience. It’s not too bad but will still consider trying other flavours that Chapman’s offer.

Delicious but expensive

It is a perfect 1L container, great for those looking for a not so guilty treat. This ice cream has no sugar added and the bonus is that it is a safe bet for those that have lactose sensitivity as it is lactose free (which means worry free tummies if you know what I mean ). This ice cream is made with 100% Canadian dairy and it is quite creamy and delicious with a kick of two perfect combinations coffee and chocolate.  The flavour itself kindof reminds me of our Canadian chocolate bar, the coffee crisp .

Tasty Sugar Free Ice Cream

Great combination of chocolate and coffee. Good flavour and creamy. The only thing that would make it better would be some texture. I love chunks or crunch of some sort.

Great coffee flavoured ice cream

If you’re looking for a frozen treat that does not have sugar added, this is a great alternative! If you love coffee flavoured ice cream, this is a good option. The only thing I would say is that the coffee is pretty overpowering so I did not taste any of the chocolate at all, so would not purchase this if I was looking for a chocolate treat. I’m an ice cream fan so would consider purchasing this again!

Holy Moly!

This ice cream is amazing! I had never had a lactose free ice cream with no sugar before. Believe me, the first spoon made me question "ohhh is it really lactose free?" This ice cream is soooo creamy and rich in flavour (taste like an actual ice cream). The sweetness level was also upto the mark and there is no aftertaste of the artificial sweeteners added in. Chapman's also offer a variety of flavors. I highly recommend trying this brand's lactose free ice cream.

Surprisingly good

Not a big fan of caffeine but this product was surprisingly good. Also would not know this product did not have no sugar added and lactose free if you did not tell me.

Delightful flavour, light ice cream

When I took the first bite, I was delighted with the taste of coffee chocolate. It was so good I had to refill my bowl! It is no sugar added, and I definitely could not tell the difference from the regular sugar added ice cream, as the sweetness was perfect. In terms of the lactose free, I found this ice cream to be lighter (less creamy, more of an airy consistency) than the regular cream ice creams. If it tasted creamier, I would have probably given 5 stars. Overall, I really enjoyed this lactose free ice cream and am happy that there are so many lactose free options.

Coffee and Chocolate Heaven!

I really like this new line from Chapmans. It is a delicious blend of coffee and chocolate flavour which make this creamy ice cream a perfect treat to enjoy especially as the warmer months are on the horizon. I love that it is lactose-free and there is no sugar added. It tastes almost like a coffee crisp chocolate bar.
