Not my beloved Candy Cane Ice Cream :(

As a lover of the original #CandyCaneIceCream by #PresidentsChoice in #Canada I compare all others to this product. The ice cream itself is not of the greatest quality, and they basically just add in peppermint flavour. I was disappointed overall.

My husband couldn't find our favorite candy cane ice cream so he picked this up for me. Total drag, the chocolate ripple is kind of gross and there are colored spots but no chunks of delicious candy cane! Plus it's a really creepy pink color which looks off putting. Go for the PC brand Candy Cane ice cream with chocolate chunks, same price but a thousand times better.

I purchased Chapman's Holiday Moments Peppermint Twist Ice Cream when I went to the supermarket. I found it very flavourful. The pink ice cream had an intense peppermint flavour and there were generous ribbons of rich chocolate. I was hoping for some pieces of actual peppermint and chocolate pieces but Chapman's put their own twist on Candy Cane ice cream by boosting their flavour without adding actual pieces of the ingredients that we love. It was a tasty ice cream and worth purchasing. It has quality ingredients that you've learned to expect from Chapman's.

I ve been waiting for chapmans to come out with a new peppermint ice cream. This one is great, totally lives up to chapmans quality and reputation! Like crushed candy cane! Just enough chocolate, strawberry flavour to make it hard to stop with on bowl! Wish it were available all year.
