Good product

We picked this item up with a free coupon. The flavour was a little hard to track down and not readily available everywhere we looked. After locating the flavour we tried it and were pleasantly surprised! My diabetic husband usually shys away from no sugar added products because their taste is usually lacking but this was a pleasant surprise. I also enjoyed that it was lactose free. We’ll be trying other flavours in the future.

Surprisingly tasty!

The salty caramel & peanuts lactose free ice cream was actually way better than I expected it to be. Sometimes when things are “free” of something it isn’t quite the same. But thIs has the perfect texture (smooth ice creamy cream with a little crunch from peanut bits), taste (perfect amount of caramel) and sweetness while not being too too sweet. We enjoyed. Definitely will try again.

Guilt free pleasure

Thank you for letting me to try Salty Caramel & Peanuts No Sugar Added Lactose Free Ice Cream. I'm so glad I gave this a try. It's creamy, rich, and has a sweet and salty taste. No aftertaste. I also love this ice cream vith the sugar free/lactose free Black Cherry and Dutch Chocolate (I really don't know which of the 3 would be my favourite!)

I hope there might be new flavours on the horizon ( tiramisu ?? ), but for now, this has been a very happy experience without tummy upset, and pain, while still being able to enjoy one of my favourite treats!

Good flavour

This ice cream surprised me. The flavour was really nice and the no sugar added is really nice. There aren't many no sugar added options that taste good but this one does. I will definitely buy it again. The only down side is its not as easy to find where I live.

Pros and Cons

Overall the ice cream was pretty good. A few people in the family thought the peanuts were soggy. It didn’t taste sugar free so that was good. Without the peanuts it would have been great!

Tasty

Chapmans ice cream is usually a staple in the house so was excited to try their line of ice cream that is lactose-free and sugar-free. I was picked to try the salted caramel and peanuts.
The taste is really good compared to regular ice cream. There is an adequate amount of peanuts and salted caramel I can taste with every bite with enough sweetness. The texture is soft and creamy, easy to scoop.

Super soft icecream!

Chapman's Salty Caramel & Peanuts No Sugar Added Lactose Free Ice Cream tastes like regular icecream, you can't tell that there's no sugar added! It's very soft and super easy to scoop. The only thing that weirds me out is that it doesn't melt properly like regular icecream does. I guess that can be a good thing in the summer!

Great tasting low sugar ice cream

It's a great option for anyone on a low sugar or lactose free diet.
It has a nice balance of peanuts, caramilk and vanilla ice cream and it tastes great too.
My husband is pre-diabetic and loves it!
I will definitely be purchasing this again.

Yummy but hard to find in stores

The Chapman's lactose and sugar free salty caramel and peanut ice cream was smooth and creamy with just enough peanuts. The swirls of caramel ribbons added a perfect flavour but in the end I did find this ice cream a bit too sweet for my liking. I think this is a great alternative for those looking for a lactose and sugar free option though. The tub isn't very large and the cost at my local store was $6.99. I will try the other sugar free options in the line to see if I like one better. I'm happy to support Chapmans brand as I believe in supporting Canadian and especially supporting companies the did the right thing during the pandemic.

Sugar free and Lactose Free

It is creamy and delicious! I love ice cream, but I am lactose intolerant and I have insulin resistance. I always feel sick after eating regular ice cream. I'm so happy that there is now a new option for me. I no longer have to suffer through the consequences.
