Beautiful but a bit too sweet

I am impressed with the look of the Strawberry Crunch Ice Cream Bar. Beautifully covered in a cake flavored coating and crumbled pink and white cookie morsels, creating a visually appealing dessert. However, I found the bar to be a bit too sweet for my liking. Overall, a delicious treat for those with a sweet tooth.

I love the taste and flavor of the ice cream. Love how crunchy it is, it’s so perfect for the summer. Also the price is really affordable for what you get.

I don't eat this type of ice cream, but my husband was thrilled when he found out I'd applied to test on his behalf! He’s got a sweet tooth and was expecting to like the Strawberry Shortcake flavour of this Yukon Crunch Ice Cream bar. He was not disappointed. He describes as tasting like delicious ice cream with a thin layer of white chocolate and the crunch bringing in a nice texture and that strawberry shortcake flavour.

The only negative is that - as you’d expect from a crunch bar - it can be quite messy with some of the crunchy sprinkle bits flaking off as you eat. Maybe better to eat inside with a bowl under it, but I’ve found that to be the case for most ice cream bars!

The portion size is pretty good, perfect for kids and a light dessert for adults. It has the fun factor and if you’re a fan of strawberry you’ll definitely like this. It’s a nice cool treat for folks to have after coming in on a hot day after some hard gardening work. You definitely need a sweet tooth for this one, but if you enjoy sweet and crunchy desserts, you’ll love it!

These ice cream bars are the perfect refreshing treat on hot summer days! The cake-flavoured coating is topped with cookie crumbles to make it super crunchy, while the inside is smooth and creamy. The strawberry flavour is rich and authentic, and not overly sweet. I love that they are made with 100% Canadian dairy, premium ingredients and natural flavours & colours!

Nice Strawberry Flavour!

Received Chapmans Yukon Strawberry ice cream bar to try out. It has a nice strawberry flavour and a good size for the bar. However, I would have preferred to not have the cookie crumb pieces on the top of the bar. It made a huge mess and was stuck in my teeth. I feel like the crumbs ruined the taste of the bar for me. Other than that I would recommend this to anyone who loves ice cream.

The crunch when you bite in it is such a treat! Plus the sweet cake flavoured coating and the creaminess of the ice cream that’s made of Canadian dairy makes a perfect balance that won’t get you tired of this snack! I love it and I’m looking to get another box!

I was sent these free for review. It's kind of perfect timing that I was sent a coupon to redeem for Chapman's new Yukon Strawberry Shortcake Crunch Ice Cream Bars, because very recently I was reminiscing about the strawberry shortcake bars I'd loved as a kid, and that seemed to have disappeared (from Canada anyway). Thank you Chapman's, these are so good! The crunchy shortbread and strawberry type coating is my favorite, and inside is more yummy strawberry shortcake goodness in the form of creamy ice cream. I'm a big fan of that crunchy/creamy combo. They are sweet, but not too sweet and, have the perfect level of strawberry flavour. I have to admit, the box is almost gone. I have my favourite ice cream treat back! 🤗
