Nice atmosphere

Love the atmosphere and the books. Lots to choose from. Organized...
Only complaint...I have yet to be to a Chapters where the bathrooms were not neglected and I have yet to be wowwed by their customer service.

Bargain Books Section

I really enjoy browsing and buying books from Chapters, especially from the Bargain Books sections. I enjoy the atmosphere of Chapters and how I can take a seat and look through the newest magazines without having to buy them all. There is also the bonus of being able to browse through all the different books and get different book ideas that I might want to read. Chapters can be quite pricey but they do often have great sales in the Bargain Books section. I was once able to get three bargain books for $10, when each book was marked for $5.99 (without tax).

Good for browsing

An amazing place to browse, look at new books and find unusual, beautiful gifts. Good rewards program and some good offers at times. love how they have comfy chairs so you can read and relax.

I love our local Chapters Store!. There is nothing better than going there grabbing a cup of coffee and browsing(and then buying books). I love how they have tech gadgets and housewares as well.
The kids selection is amazing and the events they hold for book releases are great.
My only complaint is they keep changing the layout which makes it difficult to find things

Absolutely one of my favourite stores. I always get lost in it for hours. And it's not just books, either. I get caught up looking at all the other neat stuff they always have. I always look for gifts there, and it's perfect for any age range, from kid to adult. I never leave empty handed, but always spend too much, as their prices can be pretty high sometimes!!

I love bookstores and Chapters is no exception. I don't even mind seeing non-book related products in store anymore, like I used to, because it adds to the feel and there are so many great things you can buy in store. Everything is neatly organized, browsing (and "trying", ie reading) is encouraged (though by buying in store instead of online you often get more beat up books), the staff are nice and helpful, and their points program is great. The one thing I don't like is that the in store prices are higher than online. I understand the reasoning, but considering how much money Chapters makes it doesn't make sense to pay overheard in store when you rarely find other stores that do that. Also, their policies about ripping covers off books and throwing them out when they're not profitable, so that neither the publisher nor the author makes any money, is disgusting and that's a practice that needs to be stopped. The print book industry could decline and practices like that would only further their own decline.

I've been buying from Chapters for years and I've always found every book I was looking for and I've also bought music. I go online shopping every once and a while. It's a very legit store.

The Chapters stores are beautiful. It's easy to walk in and spend a long time browsing all of the different things they have in stock, from books to candles, accessories and blankets, and much more. The variety is always excellent.

Chapters has a Plum Points reward membership which is free to start. Every dollar you spend equals ten Plum Point, and as your points build up over time, you can earn dollar amounts off your purchases. If you shop there frequently, they'll build up quickly.

I find that their in-store prices can be quite high, particularly on books, which is what I purchase most frequently. The price is almost always cheaper online, but when shopping online, you don't earn Plum Points -- you will only rexeive a small discount. I would prefer the points, so this is a bit discouraging.

Overall, I do like the environment of Chapters as well as their large selection, but because of their prices I tend to shop at other online retailers to save money.

I love this store! I can literally spend an entire day there...not only books, but such a variety of eclectic gift ideas..I lose myself looking at the varied books-and the service is excellent!

I like having a place where I can find a good book. I also like the new decor department. I enjoy going with my grandchildren for the workshops. I do find the prices too high. I think online should be free shipping on everything. I do not like when there is a sale and Lego is not included. I also found out that your plum rewards expire. I am not a fan of saving and having the store take back your points.
