So easy

This was so easy to use and so much fun. I never knew that I would be capable of making cheese. This kit made it so easy and it was so delicious! I’m so excited to continue making more cheese with this kit!

I think this is fun but...

I do not think this is beginner beginner friendly. I think you have to know sooooome very important parts to cooking and working with rennets before trying to execute this alone. I think this would be great to do with someone who knows how to actually make cheese by scratch. I am not knocking out this DIY kit at all as I think this was very fun to work on but will not be doing this alone again. Going to go back and add another rennet and see if theres any way that I could activate this cheese now! chow!

Couldn’t get it to work

I never actually got this product to work. I couldn’t find anywhere that sold non homogenized milk. Unfortunately the cheese never creates a solid without it. I tried twice and just never actually got cheese.

I recently tried the Mozza and Ricotta Cheese Making Kit, and I have to say, it's absolutely fantastic! Very interesting experience of homemade cheese

Fun process but I need work!

This was a really fun project to work on, but I was definitely not the person who should have been trying to make this cheese. Or I should have had my chef friend help me out! I had a great time going through the steps and they were mostly easy to follow, but I started by trying to make a half batch. If I were you, I would stick to the recipe and the full batch to see if you get better results. I didn’t really get a stretchy cheese curd by the final steps, so that made the stretching and making it into a ball a little difficult. I didn’t the best I could and I’m sure they are still very edible! For people who love being in the kitchen, enjoy dairy, and want to make dozens of batches of cheese, this is for you!

A bit tricky, but a fun experience

I enjoyed my adventure making cheese with the kit. I had to look a lot for the right milk- thankfully local Amish farmers make cream on top milk. I endeavored to make mozzarella cheese, but ended up with ricotta instead using the suggestion given if the curds didn't form in the exact proper way. I think it has to do with my inexperience. It was fun to try, and the directions are very clear. I can't wait to try again!

Easy and fun!

Cheese making is something that I have always been curious about but, have always been intimidated by. However, this kit made it super easy. I can’t believe I made fresh cheese in my kitchen! Besides the milk, this kit has everything you need to make a mozzarella or ricotta. My first try I made ricotta and it was so much fun and easy to follow! I can’t wait to try it again and make mozzarella with my second try! I think this would make an excellent gift for the cook or curious/experimental cook in your family.
