This hashbrown casserole is great! I didn't have all the ingredients on hand, but this recipe is so easy to customize, it still turned out great. I omitted the apples, changed the heavy cream for sour cream, and didn't add any scallions, and it was so good! It sort of looked like a fritatta when it came out of the oven, but it had a nice and cheesy taste. Next time I make it, I think I will double the recipe.

The ease of making this dish is so simple. The taste is great. Made it for a large group of people and it was all gone in seconds. Would make this again and again

This is a great recipe that can be doubled easily for a crowd. I love the addition of apples for a touch of sweetness and, well, cheese is always great. Another time, I might add a bit of bacon for that salty hit. Would definitely make again.

Wow...what an absolute find. I had heard about tAter tot casserole and was curious. So when I saw this recipe on chickadvisori was intrigued. Wow again, so tasty, my sons loved it and I regretted not making more. I added some onion and garlic salt for taste. Would love nutrition information about these recipes.

I made this last night but left the meat out as I'm a vegetarian. Instead I put some peppers in - which was even more great. It was delicious and so easy to make!

I followed this recipe as it said and my family loved it. Even the kids liked the McCain hash browns, ham and apple flavour with cheese. Omg I should've made more. Next time I make it I'll know to make a larger amount in the big casserole dish. I will definitely be making this McCain hashbrown casserole again thank you mccains. I made the "Cheesy McCain Hashbrown Casserole Recipe" last night for my family for supper. It was delicious! I changed the cheese to creamed cheese and american cheese and omitted the onion but it was without a doubt awesome! We actually wished we would have made two!

I make a really different variation of this recipe that is even easier. It is one of my favourite things to make because it is so so so delicious. I put mushroom soup and sour cream into mine and it makes it so creamy. I want some right now. I don't really care for the looks of the recipe that was posted but mine is the money.

I tried this recipe last well and let me just say that a week later that I am still wanting more. It was delicious and definitely was a fan favourite among my family and friends that I made it for. So tasty and the hashbrowns were absolutely delicious. In addition however, this was so easy to make but was also easily amendable, so I could omit certain things or add more of others without screwing it up.
