This is so cool!

I received the Chess Made Simple, chess set for free in exchange for my honest review and honestly I am so amazed! My family and kids have never gotten involved in chess as it seemed way to complex and boring. But this game has put family in nightly competitions. It was so easy to learn and use. I absolutely love the detail in the instructions and the simple images on the bases of the pieces to help remind us directions and rules without having to have an entire rule book near by. It is great for kids over 8 and would even suggest for adults wanting to get involved! It’s very easy to set up and put away. Although I wish the peices themselves and the board were a little higher quality so that they last long with play. Other than that I would definitely recommend as a gift for any kid…or adult!

Played with my younger sister who is 11 and the instructions are super easy to follow for someone who has never played before.

Perfect to learn how to play

I was interested to see what this game from spin master was going to be like. We have never played chess in my family and I was sceptical that it would be able to teach us how. But it is great. It has pieces that show you exactly how you can move with each piece. Instructional cards to help you throughout the game. I was pleasantly surprised. The best part is that it is not just for beginners. Once you master the art of chess you can detach the instructional bases and just use the prices as a traditional game. It is a perfect game for any age and great for family game night or date night!

I played this with my 11 year old grandson. It was easy for him to learn in a new fun way. The instructions were clear and easy for us to follow. It was a really great way to teach him the game of chess. I love how it advances with your skill level as well.
