Easy Check Mate!

“Mighty Moves” for my little girls who had hours of fun with “Chess Made Simple” @spinmastergames this could not have come at a better time to teach my girls to play chess and dethrone their dad who was as he states was “the grade 5 chess champion”!

The game has move cards to learn about pieces and how they move, capture and point values, 3 color coded learning cards:
Green for “The Basics” to learn the basic rules for chess in a series of mini lessons:
Yellow for “Simple Strategy” to learn simple strategies and make good moves; and
Red for “Mighty Moves” to learn more advance tactics and tricks to build and control your game.

The board is double sided with a learning side and standard side and best of all it can be played with two players or 1 so I can up my game to defeat the grade 5 chess champion ♟😂👍. Thanks @familyrated @thisisbutterly for the opportunity to try this!

Great For Any Age!

This chess game is awesome…let me start by saying it’s for any age. My 10 year old challenged me to a game of chess (I haven’t played in 35 years) and I kicked her butt! There are 2 sides to the board (easy and hard). We chose the easy set up side and used the bases that attach to the pieces which shows how the pieces can move. The most helpful thing in the game was the cards that give a brief description of how each player moves.

So you can teach an old dog new tricks…this easy chess game allowed me to play chess with my kids and not look foolish because I didn’t know how to play. As an educator, this would be a great addition to the classroom as it is easy to set up and understand. I would definitely buy this as a gift for others.

Best Way to Learn

I think this is the absolute best way to learn chess. I've always wanted to understand how to play and this is the perfect way for myself, along with my kids. I love how the pieces are labeled with directions and the board with pictures to places the pieces correctly. The best part is it comes with cards with basic understanding of chess strategies and suggested moves. The cards are easy to follow and straightforward. I was intimidated at first but I think I started to get the hang of it. I may just fall in love with this game of chess!

This is so cool!

I received the Chess Made Simple, chess set for free in exchange for my honest review and honestly I am so amazed! My family and kids have never gotten involved in chess as it seemed way to complex and boring. But this game has put family in nightly competitions. It was so easy to learn and use. I absolutely love the detail in the instructions and the simple images on the bases of the pieces to help remind us directions and rules without having to have an entire rule book near by. It is great for kids over 8 and would even suggest for adults wanting to get involved! It’s very easy to set up and put away. Although I wish the peices themselves and the board were a little higher quality so that they last long with play. Other than that I would definitely recommend as a gift for any kid…or adult!

Great learning chess set!

Our family really enjoyed learning how to play chess with this set. It was so easy to set up with the step by step instructions. I was a little nervous at first to learn but the learning cards made it super easy. We really liked the double sided board as it allowed us to test our knowledge of the game by turning it to the other harder side. I would definitely recommend this to others who would like to learn to play.

Fun Game for the Family

My kids even the younger ones love to learn how to play this game. Iam happy that the set is for beginners and learning cards are included to with step by step instruction! Such an amazing way to enjoy Friday and Weekend nights with out family!

A simple way to learn an amazing game!

My dad layed chess and taught us at a young age. Unfortunately I forgot and when I had my son, I couldn't Remeber how to play it. This game allows us to play Chess together and play it without referring back and forth to the book constantly. I love that the moves are right on the peices! The games go much more smoothly and are so enjoyable! We are both enjoying the game so much and its so fun to watch my son and daughter play chess together.

Checkmate

Our son loves games and we've always wanted to teach him chess knowing it would be a game he enjoys and would be good at but none of us at home know how to play chess so voila this learn to play chess game answered our problems. Chess Made Simple by Spinmaster provides help for basic moves to checkmate in three easy levels. There are pieces that go under the chess pieces to assist with your next move, and also cards to help figure it out. We found it super helpful and was a great way to help us all figure out the game. He will be a master in no time. Checkmate! Would recommend for those looking to improve their skills, learn themselves or teach their kiddos.

Lots of fun!

We've had the Chess Made Simple Beginner Learning Chess Set from Spin Master for over a week now and it has been great. It's geared toward kids age 8-12 but as an adult who never learned how to play chess this was amazing! My girls are on the lower end of the age range so it has taken us a few trys but they are slowly getting the hang of the rules and what each Chess peice does. I love that each peice comes with an attachment that shows the directions of each piece and the cards go into more detail of how they move and the rules. As an adult this was such a easy way to learn how to play @spinmaster has really figured out how to break down the rules and make it easy to understand.
