These can be a bit pricey, but, worth every penny in my opinion. Heats up super quick, about 30 seconds or less. Stays hot. Durable. I had my first one for about 7 years and it finally kicked the bucket. I was so sad, but had to get another one. Nothing else seems to work nearly as well.
I bought a Chi flat iron before ceramic flat irons were popular. I had it for years before I left it with my mother because my hair is now natural. When I flat ironed my hair it was smooth and shiny. The negative ion technology was a good asset to newer flat irons.
CHI CERAMIC FLAT HAIRSTYLING IRON;
I purchased the CHI, but I do not like it as much as other claim to like it.
I find it works better on thinner hair, mine is more thicker and wavy naturally.
I actually purchased from Sally Hansen's a hair straightener that my hair salon uses in the actual hair salon and find that works 10x better and more effeciently than the CHI.
The CHI is good priced and does work for people's hair types, but for my own I say no....
So far the best straightner for me. I have long hair and it leaves my hair "pin straight"
I bought my first CHI in 2007, and finally replaced it THIS year. It lasted forever and worked so well! Now, I can adjust the temperature of my current (hot red) CHI, which I also love. It was $125 but I am imagining it will last for quite some time, so the price is all good with me. It works really well, has a heating pad that protects my counter and allows me to pack it quickly after use. Highly recommend!
I loved this product when I first got it. However I found after a couple years the heating system failed and actually melted the on/off switch causing it to no longer work. I did purchase another one to replace it and am very happy with it once again.
My hair has always been naturally curly and I wanted to know what it would look like straight every once in a while. I decided to get one of these. It's an expensive investment that will last for years. It took me awhile to get use to it. Now I straighten my hair every so often with ease.
About 5 years ago I bought my first CHI Straightener & its still going. I have never had one issue with it. I use it almost everyday as well. It goes everywhere with me & it has fallen a couple of times on the ground - and still works. I would totally recommend a CHI. They can be a bit pricey - however you get what you pay for these days.
I bought this straightener 5-6 years ago. I have throw it around, dropped it.. lets just say its been through hell. It still works!! I have read some poor reviews on this one, but I'm almost ready to buy a new one just because it looks so old and warn out!
