Classic for a reason

This is a classic infant car seat. Safe, comfortable (at least baby seems comfortable on it), and reliable. We used it up until baby was 14 months, by which time he reached the height limit.

Excellent car seat!

The Chicco KeyFit 30 was a great choice for our newborn, especially with the removable insert. Our baby used this car seat for about 8 months until we transitioned her. Safety features such as the five-point harness and bubble levels reassured us that this was a great choice for our daughter.

Easy & comfortable

I’m so glad I went with the chicco keyfit when picking a bucket seat for my little. It was easy to install & clip in and out. Light weight yet sturdy. After removing the infant insert my 9m old still has plenty of room. If I had any “complaints “ it would be the visor looked like if was missing a 1/4 of it and I had to use a blanket to block the sun. But I would and will repurchase another when the time comes!

Most amazing car seat!

Fantastic car seat for new or veteran parents. Super easy to install. Extremely light weight, fits with most strollers with optional attachments. I use it with the b-ready stroller. Great safety rating and one of the smallest bucket car seats, if your trying to fit 3 across. I have 4 kids and it has been my go to for all of them.

We selected the Chicco Keyfit30 because it was easy to maneuver in and out of the car due to its compact size. It was also one of the few seats that would fit in our small hatchback. The base has a super easy installation with the LATCH connectors.and then you just push the base down while pulling on the belt to tighten. The infant seat then clicks in place.
The seat itself was soft and padded. There is an infant insert that consists of separate body and head insert. The body insert is for babies up to 11lbs, and the head insert can be used longer.
We noticed in the summer that the padding was keeping a baby a bit too warm though, so we had to adjust baby's clothing to account for that on longer trips.
The seat fits an infant up to 30lbs or 75cms. For our tall lanky baby this meant we outgrew it at about 9-10 months due to height..Baby was getting uncomfortable in the seat at the end of 9 months.
We used our seat with a babytrend seat carrier/stroller and a jolly jumper rain cover and cosy, it worked quite well.
