i bought china glaze for the first time. i bought "sweet hook","kalahari kiss" and i also tried for the first time ever a crackle polish,i got me the china glaze crackleglaze in "glam-more". i only buy "cheap brands" normally and i also got already ESSIE nail polish. after i applied the kalahari kiss i have to say i never would spend money for this again.... i didn't like it very much, it was getting thick and lumpy while applying and it was not a smooth feeling. big plus, it was drying very fast so i could apply my crackle glaze shortly after. the crackle glaze worked great, was easy to apply and was dry very fast as well.
they had lots of awesome colors at chatters from china glaze, but the color i tested aren't that easy to apply as i was thinking. a "cheap" brand can better.
i will ses how long the color stays on my nails...i hope at least it last long. a positive thing is that this nail polish contains hardeners as well.
maybe(if the polish doesn't crack away after 2 days) i will give another shade a try and see how it applies on my nails. maybe i was just unlucky with my bottle i bought.
i really love the crackle glaze glam-more color!!!!
ok, got some more colors, and they are better to apply. so seems like my bottle i bought and used first from all the china glaze polish was old or so. but they are still watery and i have to apply 2-3 coats ...while sally hansen or so only needs 1 or 2 coats. :-( oh well. i still love the hardener in it. i recommend the crackle polish, crackles amazing and looks great, dries fast as well. got 2 more crackle colors today.
I have a huge selection of polishes, it's one of my addictions. I have used/tried every brand on the market. Of all the high end polishes I have tried, China Glaze is the best. With or without a topcoat, with or without a base coat, this brand stays on my nails the longest without chipping or fading at the edges. I also find this polish stays the same consistency longest as well and doesn't get too thick. I don't get streaks when I apply it and I think it's the best on the market.
Turned up Turquoise -
I was hoping this would be more of a blue-green colour - but to me it just looks like a bright neon green. So, I mixed some with For Audrey and now it looks more like a true turquoise colour.
Formula is good though. It is a matte colour though, and I find it chips REALLY easily if you don't put a top coat on top.
Good polish but hard to find around Montreal. I like it tho'. The colours are beautiful, the texture is great, very fluid and easy to apply. It dries like any other polish really and lasts for a few days without visible chipping.
This china glaze nail-polish is absolutely amazing. The price is around $7to$8 and i think the price is a little iffy for nail-polish but it's worth it. This nail-polish has amazing quality. The color of the nail-polish that you see is the exact color on your nails. They have a very wide color range and they recently came out with crackle collection which is worth every penny for the result.
My favorite nail polish from China Glaze is Flip Flop Fantasy, which is a really bright orangy-fushia colored nail polish. This color is perfect for summer and is really pretty against tan skin tones.. The only thing I don't like about this nail polish is that it needs at least 3 coats.... if not, it tends to be streaky when applied.
I am a little torn about this review...China Glaze has fantastic colors...goes on perfectly...A reasonable price...The only downfall is that it will stain your nails...yellow. I usually buy opi, revlon, nicole...and I never had this problem...I always wear polish.....So you may have vibrant colored(they really have great colors) nails..but don't be shocked when they are yellow after you remove it...You can use a mixure (oh natural) to whiten your nails.....Enjoy
