I had enjoyed the Premium Plus Crackers for over 50

I had enjoyed the Premium Plus crackers for over 50 years but not anymore.
They changed the recipie and they are awful. I Thought the first time I got a bad box but that proved to not be the case.
What a disappointment. They are tasteless.
I will have to look for an alternative.

What happened?

I had eaten these crackers for over 50 years and they were the best on the market. The taste is now so bland and the crackers so thin that I can no longer eat them. A sad end to a product I loved.

Cracker Gate ..................

Mondelez USA bought Christies, close down the plant in Ontario and replace our crackers with an American inferior product that's imported by 'snackworks' Canada. I contacted them and was told they didn't change the recipe. Maybe they were referring to the one made south of the 49th. It's not the same and I haven't bought their crappy crackers in over one year and I was a cracker fan for over 70 years.

Quality of packaging reduces our trust of the product.

Our last couple of purchases we have discovered that your quality inspection is a bit off. We have discovered that your packaging of the sleeves of crackers are shorted some product,some of the sleeves are over filled and not sealed shut. Thusly causing that sleeve to contain stale product and not consumable.

Disgusting change to Christie Crackers - my last box!!!

I'm soon turning 86 and all my life the Christie Soda Cracker has been the standard to by which you would judge all others...but no longer. I just purchased, for sure, my last box which are about 1/8" thick and more like a "ginger snap" than a "soup cracker"...the big difference being a ginger snap has a great flavour while these so-called "premium crackers" are about as exciting as a piece of bread pulled out of the dish water !!! It's amazing how some so-called "marketing" experts come up with these absolutely stupid changes to a proven "superior" product. I suggest they don't let him/her get involved with toilet paper...they'd probably decide it should be like tissue paper with "finger holes" or something!

I also noticed the box is still the same length as before and when on end, the crackers are now way short of filling the space available. I don't know if the weight changed (now 500 grams) but the value for the dollar has sure been hit !! Stupid, stupid, stupid...and you can be sure I'll boycott anything else with the Christie label ... they deserve to lose BIG !

Why did you ruin this product

Used to be my favourite snack now they are to thick and tasteless why would you ruin these I’ll never buy them again none of your products that I used to enjoy are good anymore are you adding inferior ingredients to save a buck well by the look of these reviews you must be losing money if you’re going to keep producing this shit nobody will buy anything from you

SO disappointed..why a change after so long

At first I thought it was just me. These are the only crackers I’ve ever eaten in my 56 years. Last year they looked different.. thin, pale, hard, cracked and then the taste....cardboard would best describe it. Sad to see that I am not alone. They used to be crispy,light, golden brown with the right amount of salt. You could eat them alone or with Peanut butter or jam,
or cheese ..Mr Christie what happened... Looks like your customers are telling you something....FIX IT.... Oh and by the way I couldn’t file this review without choosing a star rating.... but these don’t deserve even 1 star..It’s a big ZERO from me.

So disappointed

I have been a faithful premium plus cracker lover for over 40 years. You are packaging no name crackers in place of the thin, crispy, delicious premium plus crackers, and still charging the same price. Please bring the original premium plus crackers back. Shame on you

The sleeves are not even full - we count at least 8 more crackers to fill
The sleeve.
They are thinner, smaller, and so fragile we cannot even spred anything on them without them crumbling apart and they don't taste the same AT ALL!
Time us to find a new cracker because after 50 years of us buying your Premium crackers we won't be buying them again. 😔

Not good!

My son and I would eat easily a sleeve of these crackers at night. When you changed the crackers we stopped buying them and switched Toppable crackers. When you brought out the round crackers, I tried them and didn't like them. You have changed to square crackers into the round crackers. My mother, who doesn't have a great sense of taste, also refuses to eat your crackers since you have changed them. They don't even taste good in soup! You must have noticed a decrease in sales as I have read many reviews and they aren't good.
