I read the book Saving Christmas which the movie is based from, then saw the movie. Boo what a disappointment. It was so different. I guess for comical effect. I didn't understand why it was so important they made the daughter a great Christmas in the first place. As parents we are allowed to have lives.

I am not a huge fan of Tim Allen. It is an ok Christmas movie to watch during the season but
it is never my first choice.

This is a great Christmas movie. We watch it every year.
