This product was disappointing. It ran and dripped everywhere. I have never experienced this with any other hair dye product. I will never purchase this again.

I tried Clairol Perfect 10 because I had recieved an FPC. I decided to go with a darker colour because I have never gone dark with my hair. My hair is normally a light brown so I chose Dark Golden Brown. I have to say that I love this colour it gave my hair a nice dark tint but with a golden red shine. Other than the fact that I found this product very messy and hard to work with, I liked this product. The fact that it only took 10 minutes to work and that it turned my hair an awesome colour certainly made up for that. This is a product that I would use again, next time I think I will be asking a friend to help me out though!

I received a FPC for this product so diicided to give it a try. I normally use 116B Natural Light Caramel Brown
shade so I tried to get as close to it as I could, ended up getting 6WN Light Chocolate Brown. I was extremely please with the result, covered my grey completelyand also left my hair soft and manageable. Although it is a bit pricey, it's well worth the cost. I'll definately buy this product

I am really picky when it comes to colouring my hair and I always go to a salon to get it done but after having my son I am on a tight budget. I still wanted to colour my hair so I tried L'Oreal Perfect 10 Hair Colour and I am in LOVE with it!!! It is super easy to apply and only takes 10 minutes so it's so easy to do it even when my son is awake. I don't have to wait until he takes a nap and have the dye sit in my hair for 45 mins. The colour comes out so glossy!! I love it! This is my new go to hair dye!!!

I recently received a coupon for a free box of Clairol's 'perfect 10' hair colour through a Facebook promotion. I've seen this stuff in the store beside all the 'regular' hair dye for quite some time now. I've seen many people purchase it and ask for it while shopping for hair stuff. So, I was pretty pumped to try it out. I picked up my free box of colour 6R light auburn or "ginger in a snap". Normally, this stuff is priced much higher than other brands of hair dye, it seems to average between $14.00-$18.00.

My hair is naturally pretty close to this colour but it's been dyed like crazy. Before this most recent application I had a blue colour in there over top of a "dark blond" (brown). The blue's been in there for months and has stained my hair an offish green colour. So needless to say I was interested to see how effective this stuff would be in covering the craziness that's going on up there. I was hoping to cover the colour without having to use a stripper or a bleach to take the blue out, because my hair is already uber damaged from all the other terrible things I've done to it.

Upon opening the activator bottle I was struck by how strongly this stuff smells. Like, it stinks. Overwhelming, lung hurting ammonia stench. I've never used such a stinky hair dye, hell even bleach kits I've used don't smell this bad and I've been dying and bleaching my hair at home for about 10 years now. Stench aside, I powered through, mixed it up and applied it to my head. The whole time it's in your hair you're practically crying from trying to get away from the smell. I locked myself in a bedroom with the windows wide open on another floor of the house to keep from disturbing my family, it smells that strongly. I'm serious, it hurts.

And it's a good thing you only leave it on for 10 minutes. Toward the end of the 10 minutes I felt a major itching in my scalp. After rinsing it out I don't think I could have damaged it more if I bleached it with actual Clorox. While the conditioner is really nice I felt like I needed 5 tubes of it to make my hair feel like hair (not straw). The damage is unreal.

It does cover really well though. I would never ever buy this stuff now that I've tried it. "Saving" an extra 10 minutes of my time is in no way worth attempting to deal with that terrible smell nor is it worth the extra damage that it caused to my hair. It really doesn't cover or work any better than any of the hair dyes I've used before and it's about 10x stronger smelling and more damaging.

If you're considering buying this stuff because of the 10 minute convenience factor. Save your lungs, nose, scalp and hair the torture and just go buy something else. It's just not worth it.

I'm so impressed with many of the new hair dyes that have been coming out on the market. There sure not like the old style ones that smelled horrible and that you had to leave in your hair for so long. Now they have 10 minute kits and foam kits all great marketing.I received a free coupon for this as well through a facebook promotion. It was regular $14.99 at my local Pharmasave.I choice light ash blond after looking through all the choices. I'm glad I choice this color it turned out really nice.I was skeptical about my first 10 minute dye kit as I have just under 50% gray hair so 10 minutes doesn't seem long enough for me.I left it in 15 minutes and it completely covered the gray how nice to be able to dye my hair this quick without dye sitting on my head for close to an hour like the old ones.

It comes with either a comb attachment for first time hair coloring or if its been past 3 months since your last color...Or a tip application for touch ups. They give your very strong gloves not like the usual cheap plastic ones these are more rubber based. The smell is so pleasant it smells like bananas in fact I can smell bananas in my hair the following day....The provide a large 6 treatment conditioner as well that makes your hair feel so fresh and soft.Application was super easy just mix your two bottles together shake and apply. I'm really happy with the results goodbye gray!Time to go out and show it off!

I got a FPC (free product coupon) for this in the mail recently, and thought I would give it a try. This product is much more expensive than other at home hair colour brands I have tried, but it is also higher quality! It doesn't have an offensive odor, it takes less than half the time, and gives very nice results. I chose the 'Light Chocolate Brown' colour, and it was lovely and very natural looking. I would at use it again, but $14.99 at my local pharmacy, I might wait until they have a sale or I find a coupon!
