Great Serum (Tested)

While I enjoy the product, I’ve only had the opportunity to test rather than use it for an extended period of time. I’ve loved how the serum felt on my skin but have not seen any visible results though there has been no pilling with my skincare routine which I am happy to report. The price tag is also pretty hefty and if I have the opportunity to try this product for longer, I will update my review.

Amazing plant based formula

Great lightweight serum, it dissolves into the skin really well. My skin felt hydrated. The oil and water based dual formula works really well and is not greasy on the skin. What's really cool about this formula is that it is made with 21 plant extracts . There is a really lovely fruity and floral fragrance to it which lasts quite long even after application, it's subtle yet long lasting and very pleasant. I did apply this morning and night, and I can't wait to get my hand on a full size bottle to see the full effects of it. One added benefit to this product it fights two different skin issues by boosting your skin vitals as well as signs of anti aging.

Soft skin

I received this product free I. Exchange for an honest review. I really liked this product for my oily combination skin. It is light and fragrance free so didn’t irritate or break out my skin. It absorbed very quickly into my skin leaving it feeling Beth soft and hydrated. Sample size was a little extra work to mix formula but not a problem That would translate if buying the full size.

A great serum but maybe not quite right for me

I was given a 7 day sample of Clarins Double Serum in exchange for my honest review. The serum came individually packaged and had you crack a seam along the middle of the package to mix the two separate serum components. I honestly found this a bit messy and hard to get everything out. That being said, a full bottle of this product probably wouldn't give the same issue. I used this product at night after cleansing my skin, when it was the most absorbent. The serum was a bit sticky and my skin tends to not absorb serums of this particular consistency. This isn't to say it wouldn't be a good serum for others, just perhaps not me. I loved the rich spicy scent of the product which smelled expensive but wasn't overpowering. My skin did look nice after using the product for a few days but again, my skin didn't absorb it fully and felt a bit sticky afterwards. I think this would be an amazing serum for those with very dry skin. My skin is combination and fussy!

Powerful serum

I received a 7-day sample of this serum to try from Butterly/Chickadvisor. This serum packs a punch! It has 21 different plant extracts. In just 7 days, I have noticed a slight reduction in fine lines and more of a glow to my complexion. The texture is easy to spread on the face, and the scent is quite nice. I tested the product using sample packs, which were easy enough to use, but I can’t comment on the bottle format that it is sold in.

Feels great with a pleasant scent

I received this as a 7-day sample trial so I don’t know if that’s long enough to really see results. However, from the week that I have used it, I can tell you that it feels very nice going on, has a very pleasant scent and it did leave my skin feeling soft and hydrated. It was a bit messy mixing the two products together prior to applying, but I think that has more to do with the sample packs than the product. I thought it would be a bit oily, but it really didn’t feel that way when applying and it absorbed well. I love that this product is made up of plant extracts, without any sulphates or mineral oil, but I’m not sure if the benefits are enough to justify the price versus other products.

Was good from what I got to try..

Butterly gifted me some samples of Clarins Double Serum, they sent about 5 little sample packages so I was only able to try it out 5 times which doesn't give me enough time or product to decide if I like something. I will be doing my review based on the first impression of this product by Clarins.
It smells amazing and leaves my face feeling super hydrated and satisfied. As far as long term effects or any signs of reduced fine lines I cannot comment as I didn't get to see those results.

What a lovely serum

What a lovely anti- aging facial serum. It’s a double formula water (hydric) and oil (lipidic) based serum, packed with 21 different plant extracts with such ingredients as turmeric root extract, banana fruit extract, mango leaf extract and kiwi fruit extract.
It has a nice floral scent that is not too overpowering.
I noticed immediate results with this serum. It’s incredibly hydrating and left my skin with a nice glow. After a week of use, I noticed a dramatic shrinking of the pores and a much smoother skin texture.
My only issue is that its oily and messy on the fingers, mixing the two formulas together. Just a minor irritant.
I will definitely be purchasing a full-sized bottle of this serum.

Noticeable changes to skin!

I typically don’t use serums because in the past I’ve used ones that are heavy and causes breakouts. This serum is different though, it feels light on the skin and I can see noticeable changes to my skin just after 7 days. Skin is more hydrated and pores are smaller. The only complain I have is that I don’t like the scent.

I really love the feeling! It's not greasy. I use it under my moisturizer since Serums are truly the way to talk to your skin. It feels like its penetrating deeply, and is loving up to its brand!
