A great little product

This applicator is kind of unusual, not what I am used to. After applying I noticed a tingly feeling on my lips. The packaging is cute. Easy to pop into your purse. It has a soft pink hue, very light. Smells great.
I can't imagine spending $28 on it, too expensive for me. I got to try it as part of the Chickadvisor MADE YOU SMILE Box.

I like Clarin products, it does what a light mouse would be expected to do in my opinion. It is not a heavy application. I don't find it drying at all and I have very light skin. I enjoy the dab of the sponge applicator and the delightful fresh scent. Something you have to be in the mood for!!! It is very playful.

It's good but can be better

I like the sponge but is difficult to apply in the lips. I like the texture of the cream in my lips, but I didn't like that I have to use a lot of the product to notice a little of colour, but I can say is noticeable because my husband (colour blind) notice it really fast so that's a good for me.

Lip Mousse

I liked this lip mousse, this is the first time I've ever used it and I have to say I enjoyed the fluffiness of the lip color. The only thing is for my skin tone this doesn't work on its own so I need to mix this with another color of mine so it doesn't stick out too much

Another Great Lip Product from Clarins

The colour I received in the Chick Advisor "Made You Smile Luxe Box" was # 03 - Milky Pink.

My first impressions of Clarins' Lip Milky Mousse were very positive. The packaging is slim and sleek with a matte finish. The scent is soft and lovely, and the bold, bright colour of # 03 Milky Pink creates a subtle "your lips but better" colour enhancement. On the applicator it's a bold, bubble-gum pop of pink, but looks surprisingly natural when applied, similar to using a tinted lip balm.

I had a bit of trouble with the domed sponge applicator. The lack of straight edge - as is found on a doe-foot applicator - made it hard to apply the product to the edges of my lips, and I had to gently retrace the sponge to ensure accurate, non-clumpy coverage over my entire lip surface. A few brush-like motions were required to ensure the product was evenly applied, and a mirror was required for even application.

PROS:
- the product dries to a natural, matte finish that isn't sticky (your hair won't stick to your lips with this product!)
- the product leaves a natural tint to your lips which works well under a lip balm
- kiss-proof/non-transferrable when dry

CONS:
- the rounded sponge applicator is hard to use without a mirror. A doe-foot applicator, similar to Clarins Natural Lip Perfector, would be more practical for on-the-go application
- I didn't find it particularly moisturizing, as advertised, and found myself reaching for my lip balm to layer on top
- the finish is lightweight and very natural, even for a bright shade like # 03. This isn't necessarily a con, but for the price of $28, some wearers may prefer more coverage/colour pay-off

Overall, despite the applicator, I loved the natural tint this product provides and I look forward to checking out the other shades in person.
