Lovely
So i did lots of research on this before buying as it just didnt sound right using oil on oily skin! But it actually does work, it tricks your skin into not over producing sebum. It smells really nice, i use it in the evening only, i makesure my face is still wet and put a few drops into my hand and warm it up before pressing it onto my face, i sometimes use it on its own or i will use a moisturiser afterwards aswell. I noticed its balanced my skintone out also and any spots i had it has cleared them up and they are not as red.
Superb
I like everything about this product. When applying you need just a little amount of it but it really does its job. Like the smell it is so good. Like the texture nit oily and doesn't leeve and grease and fingers.
Best Facial Oil for Combo/Acne-Prone Skin!
This oil was recommended to me by a friend who suffered from severe cystic acne and 100% credited this product as her cure. I tried it (I have combo/dry skin) and found it to be effective in rebalancing my skin by helping to minimize dryness, the occasional breakout and actually helping with anti-aging. I have never gotten as many compliments on my skin than I have since I started using this oil. I absolutely love it and am currently on 7th or 8th bottle (a little goes a long way) - I only use 3 drops every morning and night and one bottle typically lasts about 3 months. It's definitely worth the price for the quality! I have tried dozens of different facial oils but keep coming back to this one. It works!
best for the night!
I have been using this oil treatment for one year, I love it!!!!
A couple of drops at night adds nice moisture to my face. It doesn’t clog my pores of break me out which is a plus. I have combination type of skin but it's perfect for me!
This is a must in my winter skin care
With the colder months coming my skin gets dryer. Last winter I tried Clarins lotus facial oil as part of my skin care regime. I applied a few drops of oil to my skin and then followed up with my moisturizer. The product soaks right into the skin, no oily residue and smells amazing. Love this product and will have to replenish for the upcoming winter months.
This is my favourite skincare product of all time! I have combination skin and this product 100% helps keep the oiliness in my t zone down. I was a bit skeptical about using oil for oily skin...now I will never be without it. Just try it!!!!!
Hmm, I bought this and it's quite pricey. Don't get me wrong, this is a beautiful oil. I'm just not sure *what* it's meant to do. I applied it for months and though I absolutely loved the scent, and it did not affect my skin in a negative way, I also didn't really see any visible benefits to my skin. Would not recommend, would not purchase again. Sorry Clarins.
This is one of my holy grail products and will forever be a part of my skincare routine.
I have combination skin, with a super oily t zone. I use 2 drops of this as part of my night time routine (after serum and cream). I put 2 drops in my palm and rub my hands together and press it into my face (as Clarins advocates).
This oil has made the biggest change any single product ever has on my skin. I used to have to blot my t zone multiple times a day and now I go through most days without blotting at all. Who'd have thought that using oil on oily skin would work wonders, but it does. I've been using 2 drops a day for over 3 months and am about a third of the way through the bottle, so the $50 price tag will last around 9 months. Completely worth it and I will undoubtedly repurchase again and again!
skeptical at first because i'll have to put oil on my face to make it less oily?
but it works and you don't need much of it...just a few drops every other day.
I find facial oils excellent for moisturizing but also for absorption so I have been using this in conjunction with a heavy cream. I like this a lot, I find it quite hydrating. Though, I think for my skin I need something quite heavy over top. Don't be sacred of the fact that it is oil. It doesn't make your skin overly oily or cause breakouts. In fact, I suggest this for combination skin. The one downside to this is that it is quite expensive. It lasts a while because you only need a small drop but $50 is quite a lot.
