Good but not great

This was a product that I think I would’ve loved if I wore it a bit better. I found the product to be a bit drying (it clung to patches on my lips) but I also did not wear a lip balm or anything moisturizing underneath. Will definitely have to try it this way next time because it was a great colour.

Not my favourite lipgloss!

I love the shades available in this lip stain however I found it to be a little hard to apply as too glossy. This product is a little too wet for my liking as kept getting on my teeth.

Not my thing

I got this in my grab bag at the Cinq a Sept event. It's the first time I've tried a lip stain as I usually prefer my lip gloss. I got the violet water and I found it went in smoothly but it had a tendency to bleed. I didn't find it lasted as long as I expected it should have but the colour was nice. #ChickAdvisorCinq

Nice tint

I’ve always wanted to try this tint out from clarinet because I’ve heard good things about it. Just make sure that your lips are hydrated enough so the tint doesn’t stick in the cracks of your lips. And you can use this as a blush too!

Just ok

I got this product in a grab bag at the cinq a Sept event. I have the rose water colour, and a light complexion. My lips are naturally pale and this adds the bit of colour I need on a daily basis to not look like a corpse. It wasn't popsicle pink for me but just added enough colour to look like a natural shade. Extremely easy to use and forgiving... Doesn't stain my skin immediately, so I have enough time to wipe away any mistakes. It does not provide the most even coverage, and can be patchy when looked at up close.
I'll be using this as my everyday wear when I'm not really putting any make up on. Definitely not useful if you like your make up done nicely everyday, and definitely not for formal events or parties.
Doesn't last as long as the 24hr wear ones from Maybelline but it lasts long enough to make it through the day without reapplying.
A good enough product to likely have me purchasing it myself.

I’m undecided on this one

I was really excited to try this product. I love Clarins and I thought a rose coloured lip stain would be just what I needed for every day.

I find the colour too bright on me, it’s more of a popsicle pink than a neutral pink, and I find the stain just highlights imperfections on my lips. I don’t feel like it sinks in evenly and it is very bright. I do like the consistency of the product and the scent is amazing so maybe it’ll grow on me eventually but my first impressions are that I’m not wowed.

Dries a little patchy

The Clarins Lip Stain comes in a cute little bottle with a nail-polish-like brush. I found that because it is a gel-liquid, it was a little difficult to apply "within the lines" and dried to be a little patchy. It was more concentrated at the edges of my lips than in the centre. It wasn't drying but the formula just wasn't for me anyway!

Tried to love this product but can’t

I bought Clarins water lip stain, heard lots about how great it was, not too many colours to choose from but the 04 seemed the best for me. Once I applied it went a crazy bright pink in me, it did last but the colour was horrible on me. Because of the brush system and liquid lip I didn’t want to try in store for hygiene reasons, I don’t think you can sanitize this brush to test. It’s a violet colour but on me very bright pink. For me a waste of $25
