For pollen and seasonal allergies, I did not notice any significant reduction in the symptoms.
For food, it allowed me to consume the things that I had an allergy to without experiencing the usual symptoms of abdominal pain or bloating or rash.
Easy to take as it dissolved rapidly on the tongue and did not require any liquids to be consumed. Essentially, it worked quickly to keep me protected from me.
Just like clockwork, every June 1st (or a bit earlier) is when I am miserable and allergies are in full swing. It seems every year it gets worse. Last year I used 24 hour reactine and this year thought I would try the new rapid dissolve. It doesn't taste like mint, more like chaulk. It doesn't stop my sneezing, running nose or itchy eyes. If anything I think it stuffs me up and I STILL have a runny nose. It is on and off that the symptoms go away and I don't think the tablets have anything to do with it. I am no worse if I DIDNT Take the product. I seem to feel/look the same! I had tried taking them close to bed as the tips suggest, I tried on an empty tummy, as the tips suggest. Nothing seems to work. Save your money. 22 dollars down the drain! :(
Disappointed in BC, Canada.
I finally found something that works well for my allergies, especially at this time of the year. What a relief for sure.
I bought this for my son who can hardly function as a human being when his allergy's hit. Within a half an hour he felt better, sneezing, snotting and water eyes minimized to nil for the entire day. He functioned normal with none of the regular side effects he would usually get with other allergy remedies. He was not grumpy/wired/sleepy or listless.
Better than taking sudafed 4 times a day, one claritin will clear your sinuses up right away all day.
A definite must for spring time's pollen and adult onset allergies (which I'm not so happy about)
They're more expensive, but if you look at it, one a day rather than 4 equals out.
I'd take this over any other allergy drug.
Especially if benadryl makes you tired.
Very effective allergy medication. Works fast, and last quite awhile. Would definitely recommend to anyone affected by seasonal or animal allergies
I picked up some Claritin Rapid Dissolve from our local Shoppers Drug Mart a week or so ago for my hubby since I had a coupon for it and figured Claritin is a pretty popular brand so it *should* work, and I was not dissapointed!
It dissolves on your tongue pretty much on contact, and although it says it is Mint flavour it's kind of closer to having no taste at all really. The results aren't quite that fast but can't complain too much since they are pretty quick, the only thing that doesn't seem to hold up to what it says on the box is the "24-hour relief" part....more like 8-10 but that isn't too bad to deal with, some relief is better than none at all when your eyes/nose/throat are all acting up.
I am very pleased with Claritin rapid dissolve , although it didn't completely clear up all of my hay fever symptoms it helped immensely and way more effective then any other allergy medication I have tried .
I took it and was very surprised on how quickly it began to give me relief from my symptoms .
I will definitely be recommending Claritin rapid dissolve to all my friends and family .
Hay fever is a very serious problem for me , It prevents me from doing alot of activities outside.
Now that I have had a chance to try Claritin rapid dissolve I no longer have that problem . It will always be in my purse .
