It Works!

Having breakouts is something we encounter all the time- whether it’s hormonal, stress, not enough sleep- so we are always on the search for a product that works.

This mask was something I tried with my fiancée- we love the texture, the scent isn’t too bad but boy do we love that tingling feeling when the mask is settling on your face!

Our skin felt fresh, soft and in a week’s time, I noticed much more positive results and my blemishes have cleared- and so have his!

It’s a keeper on our bathroom cabinet now :) I would recommend this product to family and friends!

Left me with great skin!

I tried this product along with my daughter. I would say we have company i I would say we have combination to oily skin. This product didn’t take away too much moisture from our skin and left feeling clean and refreshed.

It has just the right amount of grit and moisture to clean and moisturize your skin without leaving any sort of residue or leaving your skin feeling like it’s lacking moisture.

Great Mask

As someone with very oily skin, I'm always looking for a face mask that helps to control that oil. This mask does the trick! After washing it off, my skin felt smooth, soft, and oil free. It was not drying, but I could feel how my face felt clean and refreshed. During use I did not have any major pimples for it to help eliminate, but I can say that it did not cause any breakouts.
After application, I could feel the cooling sensation! It was really nice and did not feel uncomfortable. I love it when you can actually feel face masks working!
While I tried it on my whole face, I think you could definitely use it as a spot treatment on problem areas.
Overall, I really like this mask and I will continue to use it!

Pleasantly surprised!

I have not tried any products from clean and clear for many years, I haven’t used them since I was a young teen. I found they didn’t work for my skin type so I started to buy higher end brands and found a good routine! I really enjoyed this mask and the minty feel! It is cooling on your skin and perfect for me in the summer months when my skin needs more purification. I would recommend this to a friend and my mom is already using it. I am unsure of the cost but I assume it is affordable since it is a drug store brand

I'm not sure if my skin is "purging" or if it's a skin reaction...I normally do not break out much after using clay masks - as I do it consistently. However, after I used this mask, I noticed a few more "bumps" on the side of my face. Purging sometimes can take a while before it clears away, so I am still in the middle of experimenting.
The mask did not sting and I usually wait longer than the recommended time on the packaging as I am heavy-handed with theses types of masks. It didn't tug on my skin like other clay masks would and it washed off nice and easily. Something I would like to see is to have packaging that is more hygienic - meaning not having the need to stick my finger or a brush back into the pot (i.e. squeeze tube). But this is me nick picking the product packaging and personal preference.
I will continue to test it out and really hoping that it is just a purge. The scent on it is nice too - but it may be too strong for others who are sensitive to scents.

Good drugstore mask

I got this free through chickadvisor to review!

After receiving this product I couldn’t wait to try it so I brought it over to my sisters and after putting the kids to bed we tried it. I was having a few breakouts due to hormones after having my son 3 months ago so I was excited to try this. It definitely helped improved the softness of my skin and helped with some of the redness. I will be very excited to continue using this product and hope to get good results.

My sister is currently 8 months pregnant and is having dry skin and she also felt a difference in its smoothness.

Enjoyed this product and will continue to use!

A good mask for value

I liked the natural smell of the mud mask and it was easy to apply. I left it on for the recommended amount of time and found my skin looked radiant after use.

Great product but not for me

I recieved this from chickadvisor product review club to try and give my honest opinion.

I was excited to try this is i had used clean and clear in the past.

Upon opening, i found the mask was frothy like milk. Have you ever wanted to just spread meringue on your face? Thats exactly how this felt like it was super nice and smooth!

The mask is scented. I am by no means sensitive but the scent was sooo overpowering my eyes would become itchy and watery. The scent is nice but just tooo much.

Nevertheless, I kept the mask on. The package does not say how long to keep it on but i read some reviews before and someone said 5 minutes. I kept it on for 10 until it would be pretty much dry.

I washed it off with warm water. My skin, afterwards, felt very soft and smooth. Like baby skin no joke.

As for the acne they say it gets worse before it gets better. For my i actually noticed more pimples than before the mask and my skin is pretty clear anyways.

I waited as long as i could before posting this review and tired a few times. I will keep trying this product im not giving up on it and will let friends and family try as well. It seems to be a great product for the majority i just may be the odd ball in this case.

Saw a Difference

I used to have terrible acne but after I started using this my skin cleared up a bit. I also changed my diet too and started working out more, but I would say that this definitely made a difference in terms of my skin. I have much better skin now than I used to and will for sure be looking for something similar to this. I wish this mask was thicker, that is all I would change.

I'm on the fence

I had the opportunity to test out Clean and Clear clay mask free via Chick Advisor. I've used it twice now and am left with mixed feelings.

The product is gentle and smells amazing, it had a mild cooling effect which was lovely. However I found it pulled my blackheads out but didn't clear them, I instead ended up breaking out a little bit after each use.

Now I will be honest, I'm stressed out and exhausted so it could be unrelated. I enjoyed using the product and my skin otherwise felt amazing afterwards so I plan to continue using it.
