I was very excited about this product as I love many other Clean and Clear products. This product made me breakout and made my skin super irritated. I will not be buying this product again.

Clean and Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent

I have struggled with acne since junior high school. I have tried a literal ton of different products with varying degrees of effectiveness.
I have continued to buy this product since I first tried it about a year ago. I haven't had a serious breakout while using it continuously. I use it 1 or 2 times a day depending on how my skin is doing. It does dry my skin out a bit (2% salicylic acid) but a good moisturizer fixes that.
The price is also a nice bonus.

Clean & clear essentials deep cleaning astringent

Love this I used the deep cleaning cleanser first then this and it works awesome there is also a step three which is a moisturizer and helps so this doesn't dry your skin out... Can use up to 3 times a day I use in the morning and at night. Clean and clear has great products and I am going to buy the set of three again!

Great astringent, quite strong.

This is a great astringent and definitely does it's job, though I find it a little drying and will like purchase the "sensitive skin" variety next time. But if you need a strong acne fighting astringent this is acne is deal product.

Helps acne breakouts! I buy this regularly.

I have uses this product for years. I will continue to use this product as it helps future breakouts. I recommended this product to family and friends.

It works

This product is too harsh to use as an all over toner product especially if you have dry to normal skin. But when used just in problem spots, I find it really helpful. I use it in my t-zone during that time of the month when my skin gets congested and it helps keep any little breakouts from becoming big breakouts. If I over use though, it makes my skin super dry and flaky, so be careful.

Maybe I'm using it wrong...

I have oily skin that can also be very dry at times. I guess I'm just lucky I guess... I found this toner to be very drying, even when only using it every few days and I moisturize daily. It burned and tingled a little. Maybe that means it is working? It left my skin red, dry and irritated. Maybe I need to dilute it or use a lower percentage of salicylic acid. I have used salicylic acid in the past in the form of a cleaner and I was ok. Might be more effective with less sensitive and strictly oily skin that doesn't get easily over dried. At least it doesn't take up too much room in the back of the cupboard under the sink.

Clean and Clear Astringent

Didn't really have a good time with this toner/astringent. It was really drying on my skin and made my skin feel really tight and unpleasant. This was the first toner that I used and since then I've found a couple others that do a much better job but are slightly more expensive than this one. I still like to use this astringent in concentrated areas whenever I have a breakout.

I'm generally not a huge fan of toner, however, I really liked this one. It was strong enough that it worked almost immediately - I could feel a tingle very quickly when applying - but not too strong that it's uncomfortable, and it doesn't last super long, either. It made my face feel very fresh and free of oils and grossness after a deep sleep or a long day, and although I've tried out several, this one has been the only toner I've purchased more than once.

This is a really good astringent cleans oil out good I only used one bottle as I found it over dryed my face and created more oil sometimes ,it left my skin with very dry patches of dry flaky skin ! It worked well for few of my friends though as they recommended it to me but this one is to strong for my skin ,
