This tried and true astringent is the same as it was when I was a teen! Works great to balance oil and close pores after cleansing, doesn’t dry out my skin and leaves it soft. Keeps my breakouts at bay and it lasts a long time

Great pairing for acne prone skin with Step 1 & 3

This is a great Astringent to get over the counter without any prescription since it has maximum strength to combat Acne. My skin is acne prone and after using this product as step 2 after the use of the CLEAN & CLEAR ESSENTIALS® Foaming Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin, I did notice less come back of my acne. The fragrance is a bit on the stronger side for me but in a good way. I started off applying this once a day to make sure it wasn't drying out my skin, it did not dry it out nor was it harsh on my skin which is sensitive. Its a great product if your on a budget and does the job. Would surely recommend this for daily use and to make it part of your daily skin care routine.

Strong astringent for sensitive skin

I have super sensitive skin so I don't normally use astringents. I found this product a little too strong for my sensitive acne prone skin. I found it dried it out too much for my liking. It did leave my skin feeling clean and tight after use though. I think this would be better for someone who has mild acne.

Great for preventing acne

Washing will never be enough if there is pimples. This astringent is so effective in deep cleaning. It contains maximum amount of salicylic acid for avne treatment. No hard smell too. Definitely recommended.

Get rid off my blackheads

I love this product, I use this to control my acne/blackheads. It is one of the best products that works for me. It is also a very good toner that can also remove makeup and any build up oil or dirt on your face. Just ensure that after each wash to moisturized your face. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great product for deep cleaning

The Clean & Clear Essentials Deep Cleaning Astringent (step 2 of a 3 step cleaning routine) is definitely targeting acne as a treatment as well as to prevent future breakouts. I did do as the package directed and used a very small amount on my cleansed face, 3 days in a row to ensure I didn't have an adverse effect to the ingredients. I can say that as an acne rosacea sufferer, the product did leave my face feeling tingly and a little red but that went away fairly quickly. Great product for deep cleaning for sure!

Great for acne

I works great on my acne pron skin. This acne-fighting medication that treats and helps prevent pimples. I absolutely recommend this for people who suffer from acne it works great.

So clean

I received the CLEAN & CLEAR ESSENTIALS Deep Cleaning Astringent to test and review. I found my face feeling so clean, less breakouts. I think it would be better if it was a pump bottle though. I recommend trying the CLEAN & CLEAR ESSENTIALS Deep Cleaning Astringent.

Not for me

I’m not a fan of this astringent. I feel like it’s harsh on my skin. There’s this notable chemical smell and left a sting feeling on my skin. I don’t know if it’s because I have sensitive skin. This might be effective for others but not for me.
