I've tried these in several different flavors trying to give them a chance. I just don't like the taste of any of them, it wasn't like a bar should taste that's good for you. They don't come cheap and are so small.
Chocolate Almond Fudge bar:
Soooooo good! I was pretty leery to try, as most chocolate energy bars are, in a word, gross. This one has great flavour, and fills my belly...no growlies an hour later. I've been having them for breakfast with a green smoothie every day for a week, and I'm good right up til lunchtime
My entire family loves Clif Bars - the kids too! With so many flavors to choose from we each have a favorite. Some of them are far too sweet but we've each found one that we absolutely love as an on-the-go snack or sometimes a meal replacement in a pinch!
My new favourite snack. I like the chocolate almond fudge variety the best. It's nice to get some protein and fibre while still satisfying my sweet tooth. I think the packets are really cute and they're also durable enough to withstand the maelstrom that is my purse.
I love the 2 new flavours pumpkin pie and pecan, only out for the holidays :(
The taste of the Cliff bars wasn't appealing. It was too sweet and made it hard to swallow...and this is coming from someone with a sweet tooth.
Cliff bars are an energy bar and a nutritional supplement. They are made with 70% organic ingredients and come in a variety of flavours. I have tried the Chocolate Almond Fudge and the Coconut Chocolate Chip flavours and I definitely recommend them! :)
The downside is that they're a bit expensive. for 68g it's about $1.80-$2.49 per bar. That being said they do have sales sometimes at grocery stores little deals at Whole Foods Market or Goodness Me!
I'm new to Clif bars, and the ones I have tried have been pretty great. I'm the kind of gal who doesn't always eat breakfast, so if I am on the go, these come in handy. I've tried the chocolate almond fudge, coconut chocolate chip, chocolate chip, and peanut butter crunch. My favourite so far is the chocolate almond crunch. I don't recommend these as granola bars because of their high caloric value, but for a meal replacement on the run, they are great.
